If it's a game which is known to be hostile like a local derby, I will likely bet on the number of cards and if it's a game where I expect one team to play a low block I'll likely go with over a certain number of corners. This is how I adjust my strategy depending on the match and the circumstances.

I personally don't like to play wins or draws, but can do so depending on the game.

I’m pretty sure for famous football games, we have even more markets available to score a profit from. If you know one, which is not in my list yet, feel free to share it here.
There are a few more; handicaps, BTTS, highest scoring halves, etc

Sports bet is a big opportunity in Gambling to score a speculative profit because for Sports bet, we can create a very good strategy to earn a profit from. Of course, as well it always needs luck for us to happen and to generate a profit.
It is a wide range of markets to bet on and we will have a possibility to make a personalized strategy for whatever market will be available, so our chances are pretty good to find a bet of value and to score a profit from sports bets.

1x2 bets

1x2 bets are generally very popular because it’s a very easy bet to bet on. We can bet on home teams, away team and a draw, where no team will win:
1 means home team will win
x means a draw will happen
2 means aways team will win

Over / Under / Asian Total

We can bet over or under number of scored goals. Over / Under is also very popular because betting how many goals are scored is always a good bet.
We can bet on whole goals or we can bet on splitted goals, it is called Asian Total and it’s also very popular because we might bet more precise on how much goals will be scored to generate at least a little profit, when our predicted total goals are close to what score has happened.

Corner kicks

Betting on corner kicks is also an available market but it is a bit riskier because corner kicks are just a side-product from when a ball is deflected and going out goal-side. Corner kicks are not generated by a team on purpose, it’s just a side product.
When a team concedes a goal and it’s resulting in one team is now forced to score a goal to equalize, it can be a good strategy to bet on corners from which team has now to attack, as it will result in more corner kicks for an attacking team, when shots on target are getting deflected.
So, betting on corner kicks can be indeed a strategy to score a profit from gambling.

Cards

Cards are also a popular market to bet on. We can bet on how many cards a football match will have, which team will collect most cards, and if a red card will be shown.
Especially, for very contested games and games, where very aggressive players are playing, it can happen to see many players get carded, where a referee really gets angry and he distributes so many cards. For such games, we can score a profit to bet on an cards over.
Or oppositely, in a very friendly game, cards can happen to be very absent and not much players will be carded, where an under bet on cards might be our selected bet.
It can be a good market for us if we have a very contested or very friendly game and we might be able to place a bet on many or only very few cards to be shown in a match.

Penalties

Penalties can happen any time a player gets fouled too close to his opponent’s goal. And we can bet on it, if a certain team is awarded a penalty or if it will score from a penalty.
A bet on a penalty is also considered risky because it does not happen very often to get a penalty.

Player to score a goal

We can also bet on a specific player to score a goal. It might be profitable, if a player is known to score at least one goal and we can make a profit to bet on him to score a goal.

More bets

I’m pretty sure for famous football games, we have even more markets available to score a profit from. If you know one, which is not in my list yet, feel free to share it here.
