Hi,

Mine are all Radeon HD7970 - Gigabyte Radeon HD7970 OC 3GB DDR5 384bit (1000/5500) (GV-R797OC-3GD)
Ubuntu 64bit
Catalyst 13.3 Beta 3
Hashing is 730KH/s

Donate if my post helped U with getting better performance Smiley
Clocks are 1045/1500 (even 1501 memory clock downs hashing to 550 !)

Code:
#!/bin/bash
cd ~/cgminer
export DISPLAY=:0
export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PRECENT=100
export GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=0
aticonfig --od-enable
./cgminer --scrypt \
-o ltcmine.ru:3333 -u XXXXXXXXX -p XXXXXXXXX \
-I 13 -w 256 -g 2 --shaders 2048 --thread-concurrency 8192 \
--gpu-engine 1045 --gpu-memclock 1500 --auto-fan --temp-target 75 --temp-overheat 80 --temp-cutoff 85

What is the software that you are using to display all that information on the right?

1x 7950 => ~ 530Kh
4x 7970 => ~ 2600Kh
----------------------
TOTAL       ~3100Kh

Coming soon:
6x 7970 => ~ 4000Kh

that should be around 40k Watts

Actually a bit less, every 3 x 7970 pc i build takes around 900 W on the plug Smiley so [(28+96)/3]  * 900 =  37200 W Tongue

I think OP is underestimating the power consumption.

If it is under estimated, my kill-a-watt is broke. Unlikely.

So you are saying that this box:

Box:1
5850 --------- 400.9 khash/s -- 170Watts
5850 --------- 400.9 khash/s -- 170Watts
I3-2100 ------ 20.02 khash/s -- 29Watts

is reading 369Watts in your Kill-A-Watt?  Roll Eyes

Not much, only 3 6950's hashing away. About 350mh each, don't want to push them too hard.

Dude you can get ~440 easily with a minimal overclock and intensity at 18-19.

Might as well pushem while you got em, they wont be worth much in 2 years and hopefully LTC will be.

7950s on AMD machine are doing 655kH/s
7950s on Intel machine are doing 625kH/s

1100/[email protected]

--shaders 1792 --intensity 20 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 24567 --worksize 256 -g 1 --temp-target 80 --gpu-fan 0-90 --auto-fan

Cloned HDDs so everything is the same. Same RAM, same PSUs, same 7950s. Windows 7 using 12.8 drivers.

I think OP is underestimating the power consumption.

I have a rig with a HD 7950 doing 561kh/s (i5 cpu but it's idle most of the time) and my Kill-A-Watt shows 398W-402W
