People often keep something that it's very precious to them, maybe something that someone gifted them, or something you've had since you were a kid.

My most precious item would be my Pikachu toy, i've had it since i was 2 year old.
I have this old pocket watch my great aunt gave me before she died. there's noting that special about it. It has a crack on the face and you have to wind it, and when it's wound it ticks really loudly. I like it more because it's old and reminds me of another time when everything wasn't digital and instant.

A crystal quartz given to me by a lost love in my 30s, she 19 years my senior making her... Wow! But, I bet she's still beautiful just like the crystal quartz I'm holding now.

Thanks for the thread, bud.

hey guys stop joking about Bitcoins, some people that really thought of their Bitcoin to be something precious to them and then got goxed Sad

So does many people lost many bitcoins in scams , hacks etc .
But thread is about previous item and if someone has more precious things than bitcoins then nothing wrong in it  and I don't see anyone making joke about users who got goxed .
People value money too much these days obviously. When you've read the title, Bitcoins shouldn't come into your mind.  Wink

The most precious thing that a person can own is his mind. Because it can't be destroyed or taken away by somebody.
You've provided the best answer and I shall agree. For most of them it is either: something that money can buy, family and related items. I don't value those that much.

Why hasnt anyone said my bitcoins!?

Maybe because they don't think they're their most precious item.

I don't really think I have any 'precious' or even materialistic items that I consider myself attached to. I don't really believe in sentimentality so I don't think there's anything that I'd be overly upset over losing.
