Don’t know for sure, but I am thinking that the altcoins market would be bullish in the month of January. So it is quite possible that the bearish trend would be just for now and after that, from next year January they would become bullish and that would possibly last for a long time. So, if you really want to by any altcoins, now might be the right time for you to start buying them for as much as you want to buy them and store in your wallets to hold for the next year.

I am not saying this because I am hundred sure of it, my prediction might, so you anything you try to do would be at your own risk. Try to do further research to know whether this would be the right decision to take right now or not.

The anticipation about bear market will push people to book profits which must be the real trigger for bearish trend. I guess you must wait for few more months and then your expected bearish trend will arrive. But, do not rush to buy any altcoin at the beginning of bearish trend. Wait till bottom to be reached and then start buying. Still, there will be no guarantee for all altcoins to bounce back. So, investing only few highly reputed and long running altcoin might help you to balance your portfolio.

You don't need to get curious about the situation as we are not yet in a bear market yet, in fact, we are still in the bull market. Maybe we could think about the short market correction as per to see. Might consider this as accumulating opportunity if you have the money to invest just like what I did now. From what I see, it never bothered me and to think negatively. We are not that close to the bearish season but instead, pumps will about to start after this holiday season.

We shouldn't have to miss this chance, anyway.

As you know previously Bullrun prices were ATH of many altcoins at that time Bitcoin price was below $70000 and now almost $50000 so this is already bear market and you should buy altcoins that are low prices at the time now because investors are expecting bullrun by the year-end 2021.

I also don't think that we necessarily have to wintess another bear market like we did back in 2018 with falling prices for 2 years straight an a lot of projects being down like 90% of its ATH from back in January 2018. I would consider the crypto market still as very new and it still has a lot of room to grow in comparison to other more traditional financial markets and i also think the whole crypto scene is more and more becoming main stream.

The price of bitcoin has gone back up to 51k today and considering last week we were struggling at the 45k levels, this is an improvement if not a sign for a bullish buying pressure which I was hoping to see gradually.

I think currently it needs a large enough volume to destabilize the currency bull trend and that cannot be sustained for long making the bearish trends only short lived and sudden in nature.

My suggestion would be to wait and watch if you in the buying mood, dont buy now when the price is on the higher side, that is a mistake. But you must buy when the price dips below 45k and goes towards 40k USD.

I am expecting some more drops to the 40k levels pretty soon or else we are going to 60k if bullish pressure is strong enough.

Expect the altcoins to go in the similar manner, you can buy those too if you wish back when the bitcoin price drops. But dont forget that bitcoin is the gold standard, rest all are not comparable to it.

this is the difference when looking at beginners and those who have been here for a relatively long time.
sometimes we are deceived by patterns and believe too much in speculation which ends up making a loss for ourselves.
on the other hand talking about skyrocketing and rising everything is just a matter of time, there is no need to worry about it because sooner or later everything will happen as time goes by

What do you mean? We've seen the altcoin season already? Majority in the top list have enjoy their ATH that we never thought that they can achieved. So as much as we don't like the bear market, it's around the corner and perhaps we have seen signs of it already. Yes, it's scary to think about it because it's going to be long and dry but we should be prepared at all cost starting today and think of plans to mitigate the incoming bear market next year.

I am not an expert in cryptocurrency market, but I think every end of year such market speculation happens, and if such happen many traders that are new in the system will panic and sell because they think they can't afford too much loss instead of them to keep holding their token and study the market. So this market speculation might leed to bear market, so I am targeting to keep usdt for future buy.
