If the cost of bitcoin is not artificially lowered by speculators, then before the fork, its value can reach 20,000. Otherwise, the price of the cryptocurrency can not be predicted.
One month ago i was very skeptical if BTC would hit 10thousand to end of the year. But now im sure Bitcoin will hit the twenty tousand to end of the year or no later than the mid of january. In case the CME futures will not shorted....
This is all the blessing of bitcoin and it do the unexpected thing in history you are right that people were speculating for the prices to go to 10k at the end and then a huge jump was taken by the bitcoin and now bitcoin is almost going to achieve 20k and this shows a positive rise and I am pretty sure that price will be at 30k or more at the end of this year and don’t find any technicalities in this statement in past bitcoin did same, 
Well, Bitcoin already hit 19k$ and Now, it's going to forward to hit 20k$ which may be hit By the end of the year 2017.
Bitcoin reaching $20,000 will be too soon from now. It may be later perhaps. Remember the value of Bitcoin now is at $19,200. Hence, anything is possible with just a blink of an eye. And when that time happens, I am more than willing to withdraw a huge chunk of my money that I invested here. It is not that I do not believe on its further growth but I am just making sure I won't reach a time of bubble. I do not want to be too greedy when in fact I know I have earned so much already. Just my two cents.
No doubt about it, the way its moving, $20K is not far, maximum time would be January if not December 2017. The Bull run is too strong and it will probably continue, it might stop for few days but will be back climbing again. Many analysts are claiming its a bubble which is way too strong, so might not burst soon. And yes I guess everybody doesn't want to be there at the time of bubble, actually this thought might also create the burst along with others reason.

Its not just imagination or specualation because this landmark has already been achieved in my country and i am preety sure that this news will soon be official and price will go beyond that benchmark soon.The journey is towards $50k by the end of 2018 if we also do not make huge speculations.

Now bitcoin price $18,000, about $2000 it will create a new record. It could hit $20,000 in the next few days then drop and keep the price in the range of 13-15k at the end of the year
This is so real i mean your speculation about the price dump before new year as it happened in last couple of years but this time things can go either way as bitcoin has achieved so much of buzz and attention this year which was not the case in past years and let's hope for the best and even i believe that bitcoin will touch the historic mark of $20,000 by next weekend.
Probably by the end of the year 2017, as you can see the price now is rising from $15000 to $18000 and it nearly going to $19000 so probably it will go to $20000 by the end of this year. Watch more people speculating about of this and sooner or later the price will going to rise like a rocket.
25 December it will hit 20,000 USD. Because it is promised by bitcoin as the investors showing there positive side for bitcoin and going for investing billions into bitcoin. So 20,000 USD is very near maybe it will be cross just in a day or two or maybe it will be cross on 25 December. Not sure about the days but it will be reach to 20,000 USD soon in this year.

From my experience towards the bitcoin . The price of bitcoin is going to hit $20000 at the end of February of 2018 but it is not sure that the price of bitcoin at the end february will gain this maximum price it may be more than the $20000 or less than $20000 but by viewing last few months the price of bitcoin is countinously going increases so it can be sure that the price will also increase in the future .
