Yes, this. I also buy some bitcoins when the price going down and i predict the price of bitcoin will not going down again, so i buy bitcoin on that time. So when the price of bitcoin increase, i sell my coins and repeat.
That's a right strategy to follow but the only issue is that we don't know whether it will go even lower from that point or it will rise after that but if we feel that price is low then we should buy some coins.
For me the only place to buy bitcoin is when we got a dip. If the price or value is high, I prefer to use my own bitcoins from my hardware wallet. But when the price goes down again I make sure to buy at least an equal amount of bitcoins, to keep my stash the same.

Probably one of everyone's reasons for using Bitcoin. It's a little bit sad that we're using Bitcoin just as a trading or gambling currency. We should spread the word to many more people and try to make it popular worldwide. This also increased our price.
That's true that many people are buying it only to gamble with that, so people who are not using bitcoins feels that bitcoin is used only for illegal activities and that created negative impact on the minds of people.

Everything will never happen to your expectations here that you will keep on buying low and selling high and follow the process over a period of time as you never know what is going to happen in future.

Well for me if the price of bitcoin is reduce by 30% should i buy because i know the price will increase back like this bitfinex happen that the price is reduce below 600 value and the price stay at 500+ level i buy some bitcoin that i can afford after few weeks we seen the price is rise again back until 600 value.. i sell some bitcoins to sure that i already made a profit.. and yesterday the price of bitcoin is below 600 value so i bought bitcoins again and now we are seeing that the price is increase again back to 600 value.Don't know why this most of the time happens, even though I try to buy when the price gets dumped.
When bitcoin price is 30% reduced then it means that bitcoin price has crashed so I wouldn't buy at that time because the line on the graph is going down.
And the price can go even deeper, but after the price gets stabilized then that's the time where we should buy.
Yeah if price starts going down then its better to wait and keep a watch on price movement and once it starts to go higher slowly then that would be the best time to buy bitcoins.
This is what I have learned from my experience and how most of the traders deal in those situations.

Bitcoin is best as an long term investment and if you have patience to hold them longer then you can buy them at current price as its still good and affordable price to buy bitcoins.

when you are waiting too long for the price to go down to such a level where you are happily buying at, you risk seeing the price go up instead of down. that's why you should buy yourself some coins at current levels with like 10-15% of your money. you can then keep the rest of your money for when the price goes down. if the price doesn't happen to go down, then you at least have some coins to benefit from when the price goes only up.

Just wondering when everyone buys bitcoin, weekly, monthly or just on the falls? thinking of setting up something regular to ride out the waves..... 
I don't have that much money that's why I did not buy bitcoin yet but given the chance, I would buy bitcoin monthly and then hold some like just storing it on my wallet and the other half I would use if for trading. If I can accumulate that much bitcoin just by trading then I don't need to buy anymore. I will just roll over my profit and then when I have enough capital then that's the time I would cash out some profit.
i usually buy bitcoins when the price sharply goes increases day per day . and there is sure chamce to increase at the next day . because with the increase in active rate of bitcoin price there is a lot of chamce to get profit than in buying at stable price .
Yes and its a good investment to make if you can hold them for long term, as it is predicted that price will be higher in future which can give us good profits.
