I am going to sell my coins when i have the opportunity to create a good bussiness in my country, i dont want to be stucked with my bitcoins until it reaches $10k - $20k, i just wanna withdraw them when i find the chance, and then try to earn more bitcoins, so i dont expect much about cryptos, but if i take a little profit then it is ok, since i bought most part of my bitcoins at $1900 each one.
But it depends on how it goes in the next years, of course.

As of now I have no thoughts of selling my coins yet, but what I am careful to observe is when the coin I invested is continually going on a down thread lowering down 60% and continuously going down without it getting back or rising even a bit of its value, then I think that is the time where I sell my coins and invest it to someother coins. Well, its gonna be considered as a loss, but the remaining coins might just give me more profit.
I will suggest the same. I am not saying that the price will not exceed our set target after we have sold out the asset but that is a risky way and maybe a person keeps on waiting forever. I have one solution in this case. For instance, I bought a btc for 3200 dollars and want to earn 400 dollars. Btcs become worth 3600 dollars but I keep on waiting. Then Btc touch 4200 dollars and start falling down. I must sell out BTCs before the price reduces below 3600. This way, we will always earn.

What is your exit point? Where will you sell your coins? How much % of your stack will you sell?

"exit point"?! are you kidding me? why would i even want to exit bitcoin. you know bitcoin is the coin of the future and the only way it is going to go is up, regardless of how many corrections it has the overall price is always going up.

with that said i have sold some coins on this rise to make some profit and only because i needed the money but i am still holding the majority of my coins.

When you sell the bitcoin you watch price in the wallet it will use full to sell the bitcoin at the time. Bitcoin price is changing any time, so it will care to watch and sell the bitcoin it must for the shell process and you will get more profit. If sell plan for it.

This is something that is increasing day by day, without my need I will not sell. Because I know it's doubled. So I'll save them, and then sell it later, understand the time

We couldn't tell when is the right time to sell bitcoin because its price is increasing everyday, and it depends also on us, if we need the money then why not sell some, what is important here is you don't have to sell all of your bitcoins in just one shot, you are going to sell it little by little so that you could see the profits that you are making in the long run.

Its true we couldn't predict what are going to happen in btc pricing. When it going to rise to its peak value or dump as low as we expect no one can tell. So in my situation I am selling my coin If I only needing a cash, if I really needing to sell it for some important reason. So, there is my only advice to newbie here If you have your bitcoin and can still hold it  could be a good option or decision you can make.
Investing is good than wasting what you worked for.

Is been a long time I have been waiting for my exist point of $5,300 target, which I believe before end of December, 2017 the said exist point will be achieved. I bought bitcoin when its value was around $2,450.56 and my target is to sell when its value reach 100% profit of what I bought, which I believe is achievable if all things remain equal  before end of this year.

I am not planning to sell my Bitcoins anywhere in near future. As long as I can remember, Bitcoin is only showing growth and nothing else and looking at the current trends, only a higher price of Bitcoin is expected. Bitcoin still has a lot of potential.
As stated it has got an increased potential to grow big and provide better profit to its users than any other form of investment or asset holding. So, same as the above mate I don't have plans of selling it now. A small amount is there for desperate needs and when I can't manage with that anymore will sell.
A lot of people need to know this. The growth potential of bitcoin is very high and it only take someone who can read in between the lines to understand that. Selling is not a crime, but selling all you have is like depriving of oneself from the benefit of the future. There are so many ways one can multiply what one has, with that, storing part of it and removing part of it probably for sustenance is perfect to me.

Depends what I invested in. If its BTC / ETC I dont plan to sell for the next 5-10 years. If we are talking about ICOs, I usually sell my initial investment after the ICO and always have the same amount to reinvest into new ICOs. Has worked very well for me so far.

If the price didn't go with my expected selling point instead it turned its head towards my entry point, as long as i profit from it, I SELL.
Monitoring the market price is most important thing in trading, likewise, selling or not depends upon an individual’s strategy. If you are doing day trade then selling matters at each and every point. But if you are holding then selling is not difficult matter. As you, that is better strategy whenever you get a specific percentage of profit, just sell it.

For me my exit point if my investments profit reach 100% profit. I will sell around 30% of my coins and use it for my finances and savings as well and also investment while the 70% i would still hold because we never know how much it would still earn in the future.

I can't keep my coins for that very long time, I always spend to cover my daily expenses so it is best to have more source of income for you to be able divide your earnings in different financial status. I sell my coins everytime I need money like now, I rent a room for myself and bought some things.
It is good if you are suing your coins for meet your daily expenses but I will still like to suggest you saving some bitcoins for future purpose because we all know that bitcoins are the future currency and they will definitely increase in value further in the near future. Try to work little harder so that you can save some of your coins for safe future.

Of couse it will always depend on our own decision that we will make, we should be wise. I am willing to sell my coins at higher price even emergency purposes doesn't involve. I believe everyone of us has an exit point. So we need to grab the oppotunity of selling to high price and buy when it goes down.
Avoid being greedy in trading because you will regret in the end, when you have a target you have to follow it no matter what.
However if it's in a situation where we are really in need of money then we will be force to sell our bitcoin at any price at that time because what is more important is to solve the problem. To avoid that, make sure you have enough savings allocated for emergencies and only invest a portion in bitcoin so you can execute your investment plan pretty well.

make a target for your invest. then just wait price reach that target and sell. dont try to hold longer. many people lost because their greed
I also support this strategy and applying it with my coins especially bitcoins. It is highly prudent to set your target and whenever your coins touch it, don’t waste more time in order to have more profit because greed can put you in deep regret and loss. I always set my targets with bitcoin and at present I am holding bitcoins because want them to touch 5k dollars.

That's right! Do not let the hype makes you create a target can not reaches for Bitcoin. The price of Bitcoin can not increases easy as the past. Now, it has many users and its value very easy breakdown when has some FUDs.

I agree that its value will breakdown easily or a general term volatile. One of the reasons of this is fluctuations and quick changes in the market sell value of bitcoin due to unpredictable investors decisions. So we needed to bare in mind that we are not selling our bitcoins while price still at low value, and always remember to sell only if needed.

What if you didn't need that to sell at higher value? was it worth holding since you really don't have emergency needs? I guess the situations only depends on the actual scenario of bitcoin price. I admit fluctuations really affect the decision making of all investors some were into panic and sells at earlier time-frame.

I kinda regret not buying a few days ago with that dip as it has been steadily rising since then. Still contemplating buying before it continues to increase, but who knows with so many changes going on. Tough decisions.

Very simple. When the profit has hit the target then I also sell the coins I have.
Sometimes holding the coins for too long makes me sick.
Nice way to trade because people are same like you that they are waiting for the right moment but some of them are holding for long term because they will get some extra profit from that.
