My friend suggested to hold a coin for 2weeks then when the price pumps we will immediately sell it. I earned my coins only in airdrops and I am waiting for my bounty for my two previous campaigns. I don't have any knowledge yet on trading that's why whenever we trade our coins we are sending it to him then he will trade in exchange sites.

I plan to hold bitcoin for a longtime.
Yes that's the good idea if you want to get high profit for your bitcoin or altcoin.
Much better if you hold that, because i pretty sure the value of bitcoin was get to the highest value like $7000 or $8000 for this coming fork.

As much as I often have a target in mind, it depends entirely from coin to coin, some I will aim for only 10% whereas others 300%+. I always sell some amount upon reaching my target so as to not regret not staying true to my expectations.

Usually around 30% profit, I will sell the coin, if the price fall down more thn 40%, i will also sell, alt coin is not a very good coin to used for long term, so whenever the price is good I usually sell it, holding too long could be very risky

I use fibonacci to figure out when i want to sell a coin. I think having targets like 10, 25 or 100 percent is not a good rule beacuase you don't take into account the markets behaviour

It depends on the coin that I am holding and what price levels I have bought them.
If I have bought coins when they are getting heavely dumped than probably I will sell them once it will get atleast 100% profit.
If I have bought coins during ICO than I will look for 1000% atleast
If I am doing short term tradings than I will sell coins just after they will turn into profit.

I agree that it depends on the coin like by looking at their coin supply you can tell if you gonna dump it or not. If the coin has a finite supply then there's a chance that a coin can pump hard while if a coin has a infinite supply, yeah it will pump but it will be just definitely a hype, so don't expect a high profit. Therefore, by looking at this you can also tell if you gonna sell or just hold.

I sell the coins as soon as they are in profit that my goal is achieved. If the coin doubles in price, I will not hesitate to sell it. You may think it will increase more but anything can happen.

I know this often depens on the coin you hold but how long do you try to hold a coin on average?

I chose hodling forever. But you are right, it generally depends on the specific coin. Holding forever is my way when it comes to the very new coins that are also very cheap. I believe this is a good strategy because they are still very determined to make happen whatever they indicate in their roadmaps. I also sell though especially when I have a target price for selling.

I normally sell my coins whenever it reaches my expected exchange. Normally, I set my expectation up to 10% ROI though it still depends on the capability of the coins. I'm not usually using 10% for my coins, why? Simply because not all coins have the same potential and My aim is not to get a lot from it but instead I'm satisfied on how much can that coin give. Most likely if I a lot minimal percentage on a coin, that coin is an experiment or part of my trial and error process. Which if it meets my expectation then I'll go, if I only get Breakeven or none at all then most likely I will drop it.

I am not expecting a highest result. As long as I earn profit it is okay with me. I am contented to it. Expectations leads to disappointment. I don't want to be disappointed so I rather be contented on what I have.
according to my opinion and my ex prince i have a small tricks for my trading when ever the rate of coins is fall i start buying more and more coins and whenever the rate of coins increase from the present rate then i start selling my some coins while keep some of coins for an opportunity when the rate increased too much from present rate then i start selling all my coins. i have never face loss in my this trade and i am very happy with working with coins.

Depend on the future of that coin project and the price. Sometimes the altcoin price is fall down after they entered the exchange, that's why it's better to wait 1-2 months until it calm down, after that i'm looking any information and updates about that coin. IF there a good sign, i will hold more.
