Even now, its not too late to buy bitcoins. Bitcoin price is expected to increase more than this. Bitcoin investment has not disappointed any one till now. If you still wait for price to fall, then you may have to pay more price to buy bitcoins. I bought it at $750 and within one month, it has reached $1000 unbelievably. Better invest now itself.

It's not a good time to get a bitcoin, but the best time to get a bitcoin is when it's time for Bitcoin to fall. He does not think he'll fall at the moment, but he may fall a month or two later. Waiting will be the most sensible choice, bitcoin will eventually fall off.

It is a valid argument with regard to taking advantage of such moments to buy Bitcoin, but with regard to the first argument, some people may be looking for a way to make a profit on a daily basis. In that case, it may be a wise decision to hold most of the Bitcoins, and use part of it to invest. Trading, for example, can be a good way, as long as the individual has the knowledge and skills necessary for it.

If it was hacked or something, do you think that it's still going to have value? Hack as in create bitcoins at your own will I think, that's not possible. I'm also looking for profit on a daily basis, I 'm planning on just keeping it also. Preparing it with a secure wallet too. I have not studied trading much but I know how.

The year now has come to a close and I think you could buy it around the 2nd week of January I guess. If you managed to save something from the start of the year to the end of the year, I think you could sell it when it's around Christmas as you said.

Other than that...buy when the price dramatically drops due to an event like a hack, government policy, etc

if this rise is covered in mainstream media it could start a panic frenzy and a new ATH
i would rather have my coins safe than be waiting to buy them in case that happens .......

I suppose this will happen when we touch down to $1k. So better hold on to that coins for now.
