That is called rigged bets (mostly on dice). I read an article where it says that most Bitcoin gambling sites rig the high bets so you get a less chance to win when you bet for an example.0.1 BTC than when you bet 0.01 BTC. I would not go big if I were you, gambling is not made so you can win, that is why the gambling sites are always on positive.
I hate it when i bet a small amount and win then switch to larger amounts and go on a losing streak 
i now have gone to flat betting and it seems to work pretty
good. I just bet $50 a game on every game no matter what and try and hit 55% and its working better for me because i would go 3-1 but the 1 loss would be for 100-200
and i would break even or lose money going 3-1

What type of gambling you gamble at ? If you gambling on dice sites, it's really risky to do that, but if you gambling on sports betting, you can larger your betting amount.
I think he's sports betting; as he says "bet on a game" so that must mean he's betting on sports betting. Honestly, if you don't know what you doing, sports betting is the same as dice. You can always increase your bet, just make sure you can afford it.
But what is the problem that he lose when he bet higher and win when he bet lower, I think he is talking about every game, and that is his luck or he is on a scam site of gambling, that is why when he bet higher the owners of that site do not like to give him that amunt and so try to manipulate the result.

Happen to me sometimes but only if I played on house edge type of gambling games especially dice game.
When you put some small amount on any kind of bet, it will just lead you to a thinking that it's ok to lose so you are not pressured. When you putting some decent amount in any bet, you are pressured that you must win no matter what then suddenly you will be eaten by the gambling system for recovering the amount being lose.
It's common and usual.

In Dice game the result is fast and too quickly our wallet will become empty. That is why people do not go with Dice game. It is totally luck base game we are not sure of bet. That is why people choose sports betting here we can analyse the results, In sports betting low odds bet we have 80% chance to win our bet. SO people like sport betting.
I think that speed of results play an important factor. For example let’s say that we have 2 people that like ice cream very much, as a result of that Axel eats his ice cream very fast, Bob in the other hand prefers to eat slowly.
Personally I prefer a slower game that way I can enjoy the game best, but to each his own.

It is probably because you are greedy and want more money. So you do dumb crazy bets, usually large bets with hope that you will a lot this time, so you usually lose. Or, it can be just your luck, bad luck.
emotions, greed, and pride is the thing that makes us addicted in gambling and lost control when gambling. This is really pathetic and makes each person feel it would be someone who is very frustrating and loss. If you don't want something bad to happen from gambling then you should be able to control yourself

It is how the mindset works. I believe when he is betting small, he also win or loss quite often. It is just that because of his betting pattern, he is able to win more than he lose. However, when you start to bet big, you will realise that it is not always so lucky that you can win from the house and thus you start losing. You are fortunate to win at first, but you drag it until you lose eventually regardless bet big or small.

In slot games what OP said Gamble small amount I win and when I gamble big, I lose. It is correct I had experience in Dice game. But in sports betting it fully depends on games and players performance. So yes bet high amount with low odds is the best solution to make money in gambling.
