can people cancel bids on mtgox ATM?

i cant even get to the site right now.

hmmmm so bids sitting above 100 might still be available when they reopen,

Those bid will be filled in a second! maybe even in a few 100 nanoseconds if the trading engine performs better.

Sit down with a beer and watch the drama unfold.

This.  This is going to be amazing.  I got into bitcoin for the technology and have stayed for the show.  We'll worth what I paid.
yes

only about 2 hours left, get your beers and popcorns ready!

( make sure all windows are locked from the outside, we wouldn't want anyone jumping.... )

I'm kind of hoping that people panic sell and the price crashes below $50 myself.

below 60 at btc-e

But the volume's been tiny.

If I had a btc-e account I'd be buying big at 65, and getting ready to sell that on gox.

No way gox is going to open at 65

Spurn wild goose chases. Seek that which endures.
Continue trading as if nothing happened.

When the arbitrageurs stabilize the price between exchanges, I'll start moving my capital out of Mt. Gox via the Bitcoin network (using a simultaneous "buy on Gox, sell on secondary exchange" to transfer the fiat).

I probably won't totally close my Gox account, but they won't be my only exchange anymore; if they froze trading once, they can do it again, and this volatility is something I don't want to miss out on.

I'm actually buying 3,500.00 worth of BTC at some point when they open. I'll wait a little to see how the market behaves. it might go down a little until it settles, then I'm buying! Smiley

I go in with 10k mate... please add some money.

I decided a week or so ago that Mt. Gox is amatuer hour and I'll never use them again.  They have no affect on my decision to buy and sell.

I'll continue to not own BTC until the price is stable and climbing at a steady rate.  I really hope that is soon because I'm ready to buy back in.
