Hello All!
At first I was excited about adding the second psu now im worried.
I fried one PSU and have to return it I connect a x16 by x16 powered riser cable into my mobo and connected it to a second card (doing small scalle 1st gpu on mobo to 1st PSU and 2nd GPU on 2nd PSU)
I power on and everything works fine 2nd card is detected in windows 8 and after a couple of min I smell the PSU like its melting plastic smells terrible. FIrst PSU ruined. I buy another PSU from staples and SAME THING even on x1 to x16 powered riser.
Is it possible its riser cable its from Cablesaurus or is it Mobo or is PSU? What the hell could it be? Why would it do that? I am so confused please help!
