Is it during the launch of the token trading on an exchange after the ICO? For instance, by waiting for aftermarket trading to begin, you can remove the liquidity/exchange risk.
Do you agree?

I think pre ICO is the right time if we want to invest in an ICO project. because at the time of pre ICO usually we will to get a bonus price so we will get a coin with a little cheaper and we will get more profit when the team has started running the roadmap that is planned after the ICO ..

The best time to invest in ICO when pre-sale starts because that time you can see the roadmap and its project owners and members behind the product together with the softcap and the initail cap you can determine how beautiful and big the project as a basis of investing ICO.

The best time to buy is on private sale, by signing a contract directly with the project CEO and when there is no hype yet.

yes it can be done, but in any case investing on crypto will not always be the same. before, you should learn in advance about all matters concerning the ico you are researching. after that you can decide to do something. yes, that's my view

In my case, I should invest on ICOs and new Altcoins when they bumped into coinmarketcap.com because most of the time - price values are lower in the real world trades.
I only hit that buy button when it appears on top gainer so I should be able to get earnings out of new Altcoins.
I really don't want to risk my money on ICOs that takes too much time on sales, I rather jump right into coinmarketcap.com and see which New Altcoins are better to be invested.

there is no best time to determine investment in ico. you must follow the previous market pattern and the altcoin you saved first. I personally, always try to research every ico to let me know what ico is good to invest or ignore. yes, so I can not confirm the best time

In my personal experiences - I don't really into investing in ICOs because most of them failed, some of them are scam and fraud and today there are still many young investors were scammed by ICOs that are too good to be true.
For me, if I really like to invest on that ICO I would wait for it to bump coinmarketcap.com and observe the progress, if the price is performing well then I should hit that buy button.

As early as possible so that you can take advantage of the bonuses and other perks that they give to early supporters. It gives you a lot of advantages and profit when it comes out to exchanges. This is given that you have chosen carefully the ICO you are supporting. If you do not have the capacity to study o scrutinize an ICO,it is better to wait for the project to develop and then invest.

After the completion of the ICO there is no guarantee for it's further rapid growth. You need to carefully analyze the projects and you can invest during crowdsale, if there are good bonuses.

Of course, it's better to invest in ICO at the beginning, since at the start the tokens cost a penny, and by the end of ico the price grows, but when you invest in the midst of ico then it is easier to assess all the risks. Everyone chooses by himself, it all depends on the choice experience !

Token sale would be more profitable but if the ICO has failed you could lose a lot of money,i personally recommended most of the people to wait until an ICO has reached the soft cap because it only means people are interested on the project. If an ICO has reached the soft capt i will surely join because it has more chance to achieve success in its ICO sales, probably  sold out will happen when, the logic is the earlier you buy tokens the more risk you are taking but you will receive more profits if the ICO succeed.

The most appropriate time to invest in anything technology related is immediately after your due diligence unless while being diligent you discovered a strong reason to wait (known obstacles to be overcome etc). If there is anything that holds you back from investing after your due diligence you should keep a very close eye on whatever that was so you can act (or not) as quickly as possible when the appropriate time comes.

The hype around some ICO projects is very high, so it's good to determine such projects in advance and take part in ICO. Nowadays many projects make a whitelisting and KYC, which could be over in just a few minutes. So if you are not in the whitelist you won't be able to participate in ICO. As I saw before such projects made not less than x2-x5 after the listing.

The best time to invest in ICO is during the presale period, because very often the bonus given is significant. But this is only working if you really have faith in the project. Otherwise I prefer to wait a little and see how much interest is in the project.

It is clearly pre-sale, the best time to invest in ico, but for most ico's the best thing one can do is not investing at all in the first place, but in good projects pre-ico is good opportunity for investors.

The best time to invest in ICO's is during presale. If you are an early adopter and supporter you know where the project is heading before the rest of the world does.

I personally buy from ico if the project 100% suits my requirements otherwise i prefer buying from the exchanges as mostly the coins dump after listing.

The best time is absolutely at the earliest time you can - which would mean the pre-sale. Earliest means biggest bonuses, because you are taking a bigger risk as you don't know whether or not the coin will sell well.
A lot of projects have a descending scale of bonuses, with some offering a huge % bonus at pre-sale.

If I missed both the pre-sale and ICO, but they haven't listed on an exchange yet, is there anyway to buy the tokens? Also, is there a way to check the price or value without that exchange? TIA!

If it's not on an exchange, then it doesn't have a price, other than whatever the ICO price was.
The price on exchange or coinmarketcap is simply the current trading rate - the price can't change unless it is being traded.

Indeed, to buy coins during the pre-sale of ICO this is the most profitable.
But at the same time, this is a very big risk that the crowdsale may be a failure.
I usually fear very large discounts.
