Hi all,

You can see, the bitcoin price is going down day by day. And now It is about 8k7.
Do you think It is the best time to buy or the price is still going down?

And Could you share your opinion about BTC in 2018?
For me : What Goes Down Must Come Up
And In 2018. The bitcoin price is about $50k

Thank you and have a nice day in a storm:))
I think this is the least it could come down now and now it will increase with the same speed as it came down so its better to buy now as its the perfect time invest in it and have a good profit after the price increases. Every there is a time when the price comes down to the very least it could come and every year it rises with the benchmarks and its for sure that the down fall of the price is going to be over and it would rise again now and would new benchmark again this year. So, i think everyone should invest in it and hold till the price rise again.

if we discuss about the best time to buy bitcoin of course it depends on the analysis and financial readiness to buy bitcoin as an investment or trading, and at any time can be the best time to buy bitcoin because so far there is no definite predictions of bitcoin.
and I think with a drop in the current bitcoin price is certainly the best time to buy it

I would wait until we're past $7000 and try to buy as many as I can from that point. As heart-breaking as it may sound but we're not even in the lowest point of the pit as of now, so i wouldn't be releasing some of my cash for bitcoin until it reached the supposed bottom which is @ $4000. The good news is, this is a higher starting point if we're to do some insane pushes again just like in 2017 and that means higher highs is in the horizon. I pity those who bought @ $15000+ since they thought that there wouldn't be a huge setback like this. Most traders anticipated that after a huge gain, and have sold when everyone is busy enjoying the numbers.

An update, it touched $7,800 today and possible to go deeper at $7,500.

Wait until $7,500 but you can have some already so buy while its on $7k line.

First quarter seems to be a painful quarter for this year but its not the end.

For me : What Goes Down Must Come Up
I believe on that logic either and not everyday bitcoin is pumping but also not everyday it will be dumped.

And In 2018. The bitcoin price is about $50k
This is quite high I'm only expecting it will be stable back at $25,000.

Never buy on a down trend. Best option is wait and see.

Right. The fall is huge and the volumes are not so high, so the decline may continue. While I am still optimistic in the long term (years), I fear we may enter another long "cypto winter" now and that there will be plenty of opportunities to buy at even lower prices.

Well again with btc volatility extremely hard to predict, it can recoil sooner than you expect and you'll miss the chance of buying cheap bargained coins. For me, buying little by little during dips like this is better. It doesn't matter if it goes lower, just buy again then.

It did recoil sharply in December, but it was something of a 'bull trap'. But now it is not a dip, the decline is slow but steady and nobody knows where it will end. Buying during such times is psychologically difficult, because the price always falls. I hold what I have, but I do not buy.

I agree with you. Crypto winter is very likely, but before that I foresee another pump or two. And without saying, after that "crypto winter", there will probably be another parabolic rise and all coins will get hyped again.

Small pump is possible, but it probably will not be high. Now I have doubt if it can even break $10k. Another parabolic rise is the source of my optimism, I expect it too, but not this year...

The price may not be $50k in 2018. At this point, all the bullish optimism seems to be gone. But buying low is definitely a good strategy to follow, and since price has already dropped down below to around 40% of ATH, there is really nothing to lose by buying now.

This also may not be the real bottom, but it is right now very close to the real bottom. We're already in 4 digits and the bottom is going to be in the high 4 digits as well.

Never buy on a down trend. Best option is wait and see.

It's definitely a better time to invest in bitcoin but I'd say that it's not the best time as bitcoin can further fall and if ever it reaches 3k-4k i wish that happens. That might be the perfect time to invest in it.
Looking at its current graph it might soon drop really low.

No as soon as Bitcoin's price falls below $5k you'll be an officially bear market.
And then I would bet to see another 2014/2015 again. Which would mean nothing really big happening in terms of price until 2020.
I can't imagine anyone here really want this to happen, except the butthurt and nocoiner trolls who are just married to the old rigged financial system.

This should be everyone's perspective, not making too much FUD that makes everyone panic, it's all abount FUD that makes btc more in dump. We all knew in the end that no matter what btc is unstoppable that it will make new ATH, those fudders just really want to buy btc in a cheaper price since they know that btc is always a good investment.

if it were around a support i would have told you to buy. but since we are below that point now and because price is now dropped artificially to a much lower level than it should have, it is hard to say where to buy.

"Artificially"? Don't you see what the market is telling you right now? If you really believe that the drop below your "$10k support" is really "artificial" then this is the best time to buy. But the truth is it is not artificial. People are losing real money out there.

Quote
i stopped all my operations trading or buying a couple of days ago above $10k. i bought back and cashed out all my bitcoins and i wouldn't mind waiting a long time for recovery.

just know that price is currently ~60% below its ATH, and a 60% drop is huge.

"Support" are only guesses subjectively made by "experts". They are not the gospel truth.

When is the best time to buy BTC -NOW???

Hi mate, you need to read some thread before you create a new one, actually there's a lot of question here in forum that same thread that you created, just like this ( https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--2808390 ) you just need to be aware before you make a "new" topic.

Everyone has their own beliefs of what would happen to bitcoin in 2018 though it can't be confirmed due to its volatility and an unpredictable sitution.Since you're asking for some opinion, let me share mine too.IMO ,For those who new to bitcoin and wants to ride on the train, this is indeed the right time to buy some of it while it on a dip and wait for it's rise.Lots of fud news are spreading and as a result a panic selling is going in the market, which only the big whales are happy. From the time you get your bitcoin,it is good to hold it for the time so you won't regret later.
