OK, I agree that the stock market is due for a crash, and a big one at that, but I don't know anything about this Freemasonry shit. Sounds like a whole bunch of paranoid conspiracy crap. When interest rates start rising and bonds and other fixed return investments start getting more attractive, you bet your ass the stock market will fall. There's no market in the world that keeps rising forever, and it's been proven in the stock market repeatedly. Will bitcoin rise because of that? Who knows. It isn't as though crypto is a safe haven asset for troubled times--bitcoin is one of the riskiest investments known to man. And I think low interest rates have contributed significantly to crypto speculation. People borrow cheap money to plow into this stuff, and it blew bitcoin up like a balloon. It's economics, not some voodoo plot by the illuminati/freemasons/people who did 9/11.
The biggest problem I have with this theory is that - currently bitcoin price is showing very positive correlation with VIX. meaning when stock goes down, bitcoin goes down. not sure the correlation could be reversed anytime soon.

Part of the reason the US stock market blew up is because interest rates are so low, and people are desperate for yield. But this is the same thing making Wall Street types look at bitcoin. They look at the returns and their eyes get googly (or they get upset because they missed THE trade of 2017).
If interest rates rise, people can get returns without taking mad risks, so both stocks and bitcoin should drop.

Well, I've been meaning the Brexit vote rather then the actual process (yep, my mistake, sorry). The noise on all mainstream european medias was insane and almost all of them were saying that the UK will become a closed island, all companies will leave it in a hurry asap after the vote. Despite all those FUD the country ended 2017 with a stronger economic growth in key industries. Right now the UK is still a member of the EU and nothing has changed.

Some of those investments might transfer to BTC but I think they will mainly go to gold. Thats what long, established investors have done for decades now. Its safe, proven and its what they know. Why would it have to change now?

This is the biggest thing, stock markets tend to crash when the economy is performing poorly and unemployment increases and spending across the whole economy does so too. When times are hard people won't be looking to invest in stocks or anything else for that matter, they'll be saving and trying to get through it.

To be honest I see different talks about the stock market bubble for the last few years and the ones that keep repeating it usually say that everything will explode pretty soon. But with all the respect to your provided sourses (yes, they are always can be concidered as reputable) I will not agree that Stocks will have any problems in that year. Just take a look on the latest global FUD that was spreaded among the markets for the last year:

2. Trump elections were shown by democrats and their establishment as the apocalypse for the economy but it still shown a pretty good result in 2017.
3. Germany have spent 4 months without a government. Some people were saying that their economy suposed to die during this time. But it still growing and Frankfurt will soon become the EU financial capital.
The stock market has performed greately on the recent year and I don't see any serious reason for big changes in 2018. But if something happens the chance that the traditional investors will enter cryptomarket is still low. They will rather buy some obligations then bitcoin.

Yes but the thing is intelligent investors invest becasue of fundamentals not because something is going up or down. Stocks are overvalued and so they will fall 100% but when, the earning are staying stable but the market is up over 40% higher or more than it should be especially with the near bankrupt position of the usa.

If the cryptocurrency markets bottom out soon before the stock market crashes, then I think you could be correct. It is very possible that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will be recovering while the stock market is crashing.
However, after a cryptocurrency crash, the recovery is usually gradual rather than a quick increase. After the last crash, it took a couple of years to reach a new high.
