I think that here I completely agree with you. The fact is that to date, selling Bitcoin will be very wasteful. If you are sure that in the future the price will be huge, today it is better to save and not to sell your coins.

i always buy bitcoin, at any price because i believe in the project and i think the value will go very high after they fix all the issue, but if you are afraid you can wait every time the new pump before buying, it's a nice strategy to have, but if i can suggest. for me it's better to buy altcoin that can give you more money than bitcoin, because you can increase your bitcoin a lot if you know what you are doing

There is no best time to sell the bitcoin. Because it can be anytime in the future, tomorrow or day after it or may be in the few years. Bitcoin price will keep rising no matter what. So you will always have benefits from it at any time. Thats why I’m saying there is no right time for that. You can do that anytime in the future as long as you have profits or return of investment.

I think so, Buy in the red and sell in the green. It will go back above 2600 in my opinion. But too risky to aim the big profit for your invesment, Just try to sell them if you already got the decent profit and goes back to the down put your order in the bottom

My assessment is that there will be no split this coming August and it was just a fud or people trying to buy more bitcoins cheaper. I think it is a good time to buy bitcoin now. We should be making another rally this coming year end like what happened last year. Wink

Well, you could go for the strategy that everyone does, which is buy low sell high, although it usually is very stressful and hard to predict. Before on trying to do or to choose a decision you should have knowledge in regards to bitcoin first. It is better to have option and reason om selling or buying Bitcoins. The very basic rule in trading is actually to buy when it's low and sell when it's high because through this you can earn and have a profit in every transaction. Then make a partial holding so you can also save for future investments.

If you decide to invest money in these cryptocurrencies then shouldn't wait for right time to buy because no one knows when is the best time. You should start buying immediately with small amounts so that you will get a best average price per bitcoin over the time. Every individual will have a different profit target for their investments, but if you keep bitcoin for a longer term, then you can surely make a lot of money from this investment.

And for the question when you should sell the coins, that is a decision which you have to take on your own.

If you are planning on making investment for long term then this time would be the best time to buy even though its somehow expensive but still better because we can already see its potential on whats ahead on bitcoin but if you are just longing for short term profits then active buy and sell would be a tough thing for us traders and seeing on the current price its stabilizing between 2400-2500 and there is upcoming event on august 1 which we wont know if it would pump even more or make a dump on the price.

the best time to buy is always when there is a big FUD.
for example this year we had a very nice one after price reached $1100+. they started the FUD about chain split because of BU and a panic sell caused a price as low as $888 and that was a great time to buy in.

and the time to sell is in my opinion the hardest one because bitcoin is something that you know it will rise so it is hard to predict when it is at the end of the current rise. but usually after a big rally a correction is needed. or when that FUD is getting serious and price has not yet tanked.

The best time to buy Bitcoin is during a serious correction, the duration of the correction is the puzzle but we have been the best performing and worst performing asset so simply put if your a long holder just aim for a terrible year then sell in a great performing year. Unless it keeps going up forever then the best opportunity is 2011 the next best is today the generic but truest answer Wink

To keep it simple the best time to buy is when it is low and the best time to sell is when it is high. But it gets more complicated than that as we don't have enough information on when it will go up or down. So the purpose of buying and selling Bitcoin is to take profit from it, however it is not easy to do that as even though it is a volatile currency it still needs to be learn because it is unpredicatable as it gets.

Between 7 am and 10 am I would say. That is when I get the best prices..... I am kidding, if you couldn't tell.

There is no set time for when you should buy or sell Bitcoin. It really just comes down to your gut feeling on whether the time is right or not. Studying price graphs may help you out in the slightest bit, but no one can predict the future and tell you what is going to happen to Bitcoin.

I am a strong believer that you should just buy Bitcoin whenever you have the funds available. Like killyou said, the demand for Bitcoin is rising rapidly but there is only a set amount. As more people want in, the price will rise and soon, you will be "sitting on a gold mine".
