I think this did not happen this false news we are waiting for this rise since about more than x months and no new price up to 9000 and then landing
I believe BTC will cross $20,000 at the end of this year. The price is dropping because of recent Gud and Hack. Hope it will be recovered soon.
Based on what i have read about that matter, some says that the value of the bitcoin will rise up again to twenty thousand dollars is estimated by the end of the year.
No specific time about when bitcoin will be back to $20,000 price, many factors still make bitcoin on lower price and many negative news about bitcoin untill now why bitcoin still on lower price about $7,000 so far. But to be $20,000 price is not impossible for bitcoin and can reached it, but it will be needed for long time to get highest price, maybe two or three years to see bitcoin on $20,000 and grow up.
Bitcoin will rise again until it reaches $ 20,000 in a few years. Maybe bitcoin will not immediately increase rapidly in the near future or until the end of this year. It seems that in the next 2-3 years bitcoin will break the $ 20,000 price. The bitcoin movement has begun to slow down this year.
how personally my opinion so bitcoin in the near future will strike 10 000 dollars and by the end of 2018 its price will grow more than 20 000 dollars !!! and by the end of 2020 will reach $ 100,000

In my point of view, this is very difficult to predict, but I personally think that unfortunately it will not be soon. In my opinion, the best option for BTC is by the end of the year to reach about $ 18,000.
Today's market situation is not new, it has been repeated many times in history. Look at the graph 2013-2017, at the end of 2013 bitcoin cost $1122 and after fell to $213, and then until 2017 could not recover, for 2017 - there was an increase to 20K.

we just need a huge volume and that can be possible by any hype related to any business giant accepting it as a payment method. i guess the time is not too far but it should also be in the buying access of small traders as well
As the Technical analysis, it should be by the end this year. We can share our positive opinion with the society to create a better mindset about the cryptocurrency and its' ecosystem. Huge institutional investors need to make big hype in bitcoin. As industry experts, intuition keeps watch on the market behaviours very closely.

i think to reach that amount of price will be hard, in fact bitcoin is not booming like past when it reach the highest price. and now to make the price keep stable is already good for this coin
some prediction that market cap will get 2600B $ in 2018, and this prediction only true when bitcoin get 20000$ one more time. When crypto currency is more and more accept in many country and the breakthrough of lightning technology, we hope in brightly future of crypto currency market
I dont see any importance of idea on why bitcoin should be back at $20k sooner rather than later. No one would really knows when will it be back at that mark again. Yes, we have techinical analysis, predictions, and etc. But that doesnt guarantee the outcome. The main factor why btc would continue to surge is us! The investors, traders, miners, and all the people who engage in cryptocurrency.
Absolutely true it is us the community that make all this possible and we are the main reason the price of Bitcoin and altcoins will surge or not
In my views, reaching the price value of btc back to $20K USD is not impossible to happen but this may take a while to be able to reach such assumption. However, my prediction for btc is that it will reach more than $15k but less than $20K at the end of the year. If only more people would consider investing with btc, then the growth may not take a longer time to reach such target. People should continue to believe in bitcoin as this will surely be going back to recovery.
Maybe more people will consider investing in Bitcoin when there is clarity on what is happening with crypto regulations and depending on what the hype in the media is.
Personally, my opinion is that this mark will not rise again. This is associated with many factors, but in most, its price is inflated and very much. Now the market falls heavily to the fact that each coin begins to acquire its actual price. Therefore bitcoin does not rise so much, I think, and investing in it will become less.

For my speculation i think it is very impossible that bitcoin hits $20,000 as you can see chart at coin marketcap the price has stable a month ago and it is hard to go further.
Well for how long do you expect the market to stay low?
I think with the recent trend reversal no one can say for sure when we can expect the bitcoin price to reach it's Ath again. But if by the year end we don't break this down trend than expect us to enter into a multi year bear phase. Lightning network being adopted at a faster speed might help in the Bitcoin price breaking out of this bear cycle.
I really think that bitcoin could actually hit 20k this year, and the reason to say that is that lightning network is promised to be implemented this tear and with it the whole scalibility that bitcoin has will get fixed, and soon bitcoin will be used for many micro transactions, and we might even see bitcoin being implemented as a payment method in many places, and that will only affect the price in a positive way.
I agree with what you say, with lightening protocol it will only affect the price in a positive way and will probably make altcoins go up in value too so that would a great thing to happen.
