Looking for 10K by the end of 2014.  I'm about 85% sure.

100K?  I'm thinking maybe before 2017.  But it's still too far out to tell with any certainty.

Keep in mind, I'm probably wrong.

What does someone do to get lots of Bitcoins in this situation ? Simply sell something for Bitcoins that is exclusive and very expensive - e.g. a spaceflight.

And what does it means for the price of Bitcoins - it will rise very fast. Maybe sometime we'll be able to buy a spaceflight for 1 BTC.

Sadly Virgin Galactic sells the bitcoins for fiat as soon as they get them. They just give you the option to pay with bitcoins.

Also why the f*** do people in these forums use decimals instead of commas to represent number segments?? wtf is 100.000?

Because not everyone here lives in the United States.  Roll Eyes

That is the only way I will become a millionaire..... screw petty gains, $1000/BTC is nothing

And what is the point of being a millionaire if you can't even buy a load of bread with 1 million (pick your denomination).

The better question is when can I buy a house or car on a regular basis with BTC.  When it is widely accepted, your paltry 0.1 BTC will be more highly valued.

Um, if you can't buy some bread you are not a "millionaire"... you know exactly what I mean. You can have 1 million rupees but you're not what we in America call a millionaire, which pretty much means you are rich. No need to be a smartass

With all the hedge funds that are now hoarding bitcoin and getting ready to open in 2014 new type of investment for wealthy people which now don't even have an education on bitcoin. i sustain my opinion that this will happen in 1 year max

It will crash before it ever gets this high. All it takes is one glitch or intrusion in the system to crash everything bringing it down. Yes that may be a long time from now, but it is bound to happen at some point.

Everyone is talking about 2013-USD, 2013-EURO and 2013-YEN. When we're talking about $1M we mean the purchasing power of $1M TODAY.

People, please stop using that retarded argument. Thank you Smiley

You're expecting a 100K USD or Euro or Yen valuation of BTC in 2013?  I apologize for my retardyness...

No, I'm not. This thread is about when the valuation of a single Bitcoin will be $1M in 2013-USD, or in other words when the buying power of a single Bitcoin will match the buying power of 1M USD TODAY. Future inflation (and therefore reduction in value) of USD is not a factor in this prediction.

I didn't mean to insult you (hence the smiley at the end) but the argument you make keeps coming back and I got a little sick of it Wink

Numbers have to be used in context, I saw something like
1,500,375,50
as well, meaning
1 500 375.50

So always use your brain

When we reach 100.000, USD is not important anymore and we don't care about the usd/BTC price.

So that means we'll never be rich? Sad

100.000 = 100!!!

100,000 = 100000!!!!

100.00 = 100
100.000 = 100,000

at least that was my assumption  Roll Eyes

this is only a assumption, if some government use BTC ass means of paying then it will go much higher that 100k.
