The market so far has been down for the year. When do you feel the market will recover? Too much FUD going around with negative news floating around. Will Bitcoin go down further to USD 8-9k??
because of that fake news the price of bitcoin currency will not jump up the only thing we can do is wait and while you are waiting until the bitcoin price will increase again if you have some extra money keep buying bitcoin because it might be increase again in the next few days or next month.
We know that panic is still happening, fud, rumors, hoaxes are happening everywhere and it makes users panic and sell their bitcoin, let alone falling prices worsen the situation. I know there are many people must be afraid to hold their bitcoin because of prices that do not go up. I will say that be patient dude! if you get in a panic and lots of users also experience it. then bitcoin will get worse. so be patient and do not panic. wait a few days or several weeks ahead. I'm sure if many users think the same bitcoin price will re-recover

We're seeing bitcoin rise again to $11k+ today. So the people who said that bitcoin was going to go sub-5 figures was dead wrong this time. It is clear to me that this sideways movement should be a signal for accumulation, as there is pretty much not going to be a chance that bitcoin will go down under $10000 for a prolonged period of time, at least.

This makes investing in bitcoin now a great option for anyone to consider, and anyone who already has bitcoin should hold onto their coins instead of dumping it in my opinion.

Just consider this - the max you'll lose at least for now is around 10% of your total investment(price shouldn't go under $10k), but there is infinite upside. Bitcoin could achieve another ATH this year, it's not impossible.

The price of bitcoin has been experiencing a great fall in value. Possibly the market requires lot time to pick up again reaching new ath. Each day the users hope for an increase in the price of bitcoin, but everyday things were taking place in the opposite manner going downwards.

I don't think we should wait long time until the price reach a new all time high. What is happening now is not something new. Like before, price will rise again very fast. When the price starts to rise again, many people will invest again and will cause the price rise to be very fast.

Short term speaking I wouldn't see bitcoin go down under $10k. We have already tested the support two times and both times, we came close to crashing under the $10k figure but on both occasions stopped just short of it.

So what we can conclude from last week's crash and this recent correction is that $10k is the main support right now, and based on that support we can slowly recovery to the price levels that we saw late last year.

I'm still quite optimistic about bitcoin this year, there are still going to be some events and outside influences that will make price somewhat unpredictable, but the general trend is going to be up, and then stabilize.

By the end of the year, it wouldn't be a surprise to me if bitcoin settles above $20k, just like it has settled above $10k this year. If you see it crash below $8-9k, you should probably accumulate some just for the future, since it is dirt cheap.

I would agree with that. The recent price correction was a test to see how low bitcoin would go, and it won't be going any lower than $10K. The support for bitcoin has proven to prevent it from getting any lower than that. Without the recent FUDs, the market has already been recovering from the correction however it has gone down again. It may rise again after awhile unless some event were to occur which would cause another disruption.

It’s a good opportunity for new investors to engage. Shopping time for those who have the means to buy bitcoin now. I believe something is causing this rapid and dramatic fall but whatever that something maybe, bitcoin has been proven for years to be strong, if not it would have not survived.

When the investors and whales will start shifting their money from alts to bitcoin, manipulation is at the peak during this month.
The imposing of bans and regulation laws day by day in different countries over cryptos is also the reason of the high uncertainty in the market.
No i don't expect that bitcoin will going fall an further from $10k, it will oscillate between $11k to $13k even if it will not going to rise in near future.

Price will pick up in due time that would even surprise us because there won't be any tangible reason to hold on to that is responsible for such spike that would be witnessed. The problem we have is that we are too impatient to see a red market we all want a forever green one and when we get a green, we want a greener situation. The period that we have been having a downturn in price is even not up to a month. So everybody just chill what will happen will happen.

I think we should be aware that the tremendous bullish trend that bitcoin experienced throughout 2017 was something sui generis and unexpected, because never in the history of this new market had something similar been observed, and just look at the historical graphs of bitcoin to see how abnormal that performance was. Therefore it is expected that at some point the market would need a rest given the unsustainability of a similar upward career for a very long time, and this pause could last for several months, so there is nothing left to be patient and reassure our anxiety.

Why are you so desperated about when is it going to happen? i am quiet right now, i am not desperated like most people in here.

We all know that the price is going to go up, but we can not expect it to happen just tomorrow or today! The price has went up by more than 10% today.

Crashes can take a long time to recover. Back at the end of 2013, the price of Bitcoin rose to about $1,200 before crashing down to around $200. The price fluctuated between about $200 and $600 until the end of 2016. It took about 3 years to get back to the high of $1,200 again.

This time I think the recovery will be quicker, but there is no guarantee. Now with Bitcoin being more well known, it may be easier to get back to $20,000.

crashes are very normal in bitcoin, the correction of this bitcoin price from the previous sells are still on process, this is the perfect time to buy/invest in bitcoin because of its 100% drop. imagine this will be considered as a 100% bonus to buy/bought bitcoin now then hold until next year. im sure there are no dip happen again like this in this year.

As there are lot of negative news around the bitcoins, it will take few more months to stabilize the price. Once the investors are confident, the price will start to move upwards. One positive news will also help to shift the trend upwards/positively, we should have some patience. We should hold the bitcoins for longer time instead of liquidating it under the fear of loss.

It's tested the $10k mark again today.

The Bitcoin price is correlated with the Google Trends graph for searches about bitcoin. And as you can see:

https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?q=bitcoin

interest is heading down to what we saw back in November, so it's not surprising that the price is at November levels too.

I do not think that it will be touching less than $10,000 again. It is just matter of time until the price recovers back again and go up, it will happen sooner o later, and there are no doubts about that.
It went down below the $10,000 level slightly just now, which shouldn't really concern people as long as we don't break through the previously set bottom. It's pretty much the thin overall market allowing these swings to reach this deep down. It will likely keep moving within a new range that happens to be $10,000-$12,000 (give or take a few hundred in both directions).

I am just waiting until it touches $8000 so i can buy a few more.
It's pretty risky to wait with buying till the market drops to $8000 since it may not even happen. From current levels its just 20% decline to $8000 anyway, so it's not even worth waiting for if you plan to invest for the long term. If you want to wait anyway, then make sure you buy some at current levels, and have the rest of your funds aside in case the price does happen to fall down to your target price of $8000.

In Jan 2018 1BTC = $16500 and today its worth is 1 BTC = $10500 , so its tough to express when market wil pick up again, but market will pick up again its sure.

Those pumps will be happen on November - December as statistics says on it and maybe for that month we can experience another pump but for now maybe the one we can experience are those stability and dumping since many people doesn't really know if they could trust the bits at this time since their are so many people are dumping their BTC for fiat safekeeping reasons.
