I like how things have been doing so far: nice steady exponential long-term growth to keep us holders happy, with lots of bubbles along the way to provide opportunities for day-traders.

I'm hoping that this time it isn't a bubble at all, that we will actually see sustainable growth that doesn't come crashing down...

I hope so but bitcoin isn't enough mature to have a steady slow growth, we will see more bubbles after this one.

I think we need these "bubbles" to get back on the top again, and to reach the ATH.   We can't head to the top, or to the ATH,  without drops.. That would be too unrealistic.

However, I personally don't really talk about "bubbles", I think these are just natural fluctuations and corrections but I know and reconize what you guys mean.

I think the value will increase now, in 2-3 months we'll be at a higher value than we're at now. $850 or something.. I think 2-3 months is too early to reach a ATH, but we'll see.

Just talked to 2014, no more bubbles for this year.

Ahhh shame, but then again as someone who spends BTC i'm not a massive fan of bubbles i'd much prefer a nice stable price which slowly grows rather than a massive jump and even bigger fall.

The bubble is already started, we have gained 40% in ten days, this is the new uptrend which will carry us to a new ATH in few weeks.

Define what you mean by start.

Some say it already started, others say it will start soon.

It really depends what you mean by bubble.

Where the price will finally stabilize is anyone guess.

Finally stabilize? LOL

Certainly not within the next few years and certainly not in mere triple digits.

We've barely moved from the innovator stage to the early adopter stage.

While some bagholders desperately hope for lower BTC prices to dump their fiat, they're deluding themselves with their pipedreams of sub-$400 coins.

The biggest mistake a noob can make is to treat Bitcoin as if it were stock in a company or some kind of investment vehicle. Save that for things like the Winklevoss ETF.

Bitcoin is a protocol, and an open-source, peer-to-peer, cryptographically secure one at that. Don't compare it to stocks, bonds or forex. Compare it to the early days of TCP/IP.

I know that the Bitcoin protocol is the future and not many released altcoins have had better fundamentals.
The only reason I can see for Bitcoin to drop is if a new cryptocurrency is innovative.

I mean innovative as the new currency x being to Bitcoin as Bitcoin is to centralized yet anonymous digital currencies.

I don't see that happening right now , but in a couple years , what if it supercedes BTC ?

Seems like we're entering the bear trap now

4200 CNY was the price at which it started dropping.
Coincidence ? I think not.

I think it will end up over 1k$ but under 2k$ by the end of this year , I guess mostly around 1500$

According to "the chart" we will first hit the beartrap and then enter the mega bubble.
Let's hope the bear trap is $1000 or so, then the bubble will be $5k+ Wink

I put a vote on June where there will be a small consolidation just before the real bubble starts.

P.S. This TA is based on the skidmark I made on my TP.

It's picking up. Looks like August might have a bit late, unless that is when the bubble *really* takes off.

I think $5000 is a fair estimate

Isn't a bit optimistic?

Not at all, given the violent jumps that BTC has made before.

When price starts really going up, it will likely make a reasonable estimate of what logically we think it could go to look tame.

When it starts shifting, the news picks up on it aswell, and outsiders start buying the odd BTC here and there and it really shifts as more and more new people get on it.

If price went from 1200 to 300 (btcchina) do not worry holders here, you must be braver than I am.

This is bitcoin the price does not "stabilize", Volatility is our bitch.

Perfect time for a sean bean mime about "One does not simply stabilize BTC"
