I agree with you, indeed if from the start they can limit their gambling or can restrain themselves from gambling excessively maybe they will not lose a lot of money nor will they be at the point of suffering from losing a lot of money, by being at that point of suffering, they will be confused about continuing their life, the choice is to end their life or fight to fix everything.

To me, this is not a reason to start gambling if you really are claiming that you are not a gambler, because if not for a poor mentality, how do you expect to gain what you want from something you know nothing about? I agree with you, gambling is not supposed to be fun for those people who gamble just for the sake of winnings and profit, this is applicable to some average person who gamble because of considering it as a part of their income but when it comes to those rich people, gambling is really just a fun for them but with a mix of some business things of course! because they do this as one of their stress reliever but some of them are frugal when it comes to betting because just like a typical business tycoons, they think very well and they have a practical mindset before doing such things so I must say, it depends to the level of thinking of a person, it doesn't matter of you're an average or rich person.
