in my country, the information is unclear when the sporting events will start again

At least we are hearing a lot of positive rumors next month, the world just can't stop because of the pandemic, otherwise our economy will more suffer in the long run, with a new format and a good measures in place, I am confident we will soon sports will resume soon.

The situation, despite the covid 19, requires adaptation, quarantine was the defense method and in some ways has been effective, but stopping contagions at zero became very difficult in practice in the short term, so it is required An adaptation in the way of life but with social distancing.

Sports are going to start in a phase without an audience, in that sense soccer, the NBA golf sports that are registered as the main ones to start in the short term, but in the case of the NBA the main theme in a At the beginning it was to cancel the season but the economic damage would be greater, so they are looking for ways to save the season, which is why if it becomes official they plan to start by the end of July, taking ESPN Wide World of Sports* as the venue for all the teams, but even this may change in the coming days.

Boxing I follow only in the big events or big fights and this sport in that sense is perhaps one of those that could expect a great fight next year, of all the sports in the so-called top 10 in which boxing is found, I don't see how a great "fight without an audience" can be performed, come on it can be done, but the essence of the public in any sport is really essential but in boxing it is very fundamental. I think betting on a great event and with great boxers they will have to wait for 2021.

In general, July-August is seen as the beginning of some of the main sports and, consequently, sports betting.

Well, I didn't stopped betting even during pandemy. There was still some football leagues running like Belarus or Nicaragua. So, I was betting on it sometimes, because I really missed sports betting. And now when Bundesliga returned, it's such good feeling when you can watch top level football and bet on it. There is quite many football already running, so there is some options to bet on. I just can't wait until La Liga will return.
1. PBA is Philippines league, right? If yes, I have no idea how much Philippines were affected by virus, so I won't answer it.
2. I would predict that Nba will return somewhere in July.
3. I haven't folowed what's going on in boxing lately and don't know when major events were scheduled to happen. But I think in June we will see some events returning.

Overall pandemic situation is not getting lower actually. We are at the last stage of first wave only and second wave is on the way. I don’t think in this kinda situation affected countries will take extra risks to start sports on their region rather than keeping everything paused as it is for next couple of month. Already WHO declared that after europe covid19 gonna massively spread on Africa and Asian territory where large number of people will get affected for sure. Already its started and most concerning thing is that it can reverse to other countries like it did from China to all over the world.

Definitely corona virus will stay longer than we are expecting and results will be massive if people don't follow proper guidelines which are provided by their government.
It's getting better, not as fast as we would like, but it's fact, just look at charts. And second wave - it's just predictions. Nobody can guarantee that it will happen. Or if it will happen, nobody knows how serious it will be. For me sometimes it feels that all talks about second wave are made to keep people in fear.

Jack of all trades 💯
1) PBA (our local basketball organization)
2) NBA
3) Boxing especially on popular boxers.

Those on your list are the usual sports I've always betting on.

1. NBA is now in preparation for their comeback. There is a high chance that the league will resume in a few months. Guidelines is expected to announce a few days from now.
2. PBA is also observing the situation and will announce their decision in August if they will resume the season.
3. As for boxing, Top Rank CEO Bob Arum announced that they will begin fights next month.

And as far as other sports league, some are also in preparations for their comeback. Sportsbetting sites will surely be back again on their usual activity this year. But I hope that while they are slowly coming back, the spread of the virus will now be slow too. I want to see our usual normal soon, not the new normal.

Right this is over the news and I think they are tackling in the issue right now on how to adopt in new normal so that they can successfully open up the league also the match, provably in upcoming months we will see them go live as Manila is underway to go ecq since most of the mayors agree to it, Hopefully they will be successful for that plans and no another wave of covid cases so all things will be consider.

And there are still lots of games that can be played without much physical nor close contact.

Such as, online games.
1. CS:GO
2. DOTA 2

If I am not wrong there are ongoing tournament/competition at CS:GO, I just haven't checking it if it's available in sportsbook, but many popular have it (I know).

The sports that I like to bet when sports will resume.

Oh, we've in the same sports after all. Obviously, when the time that they are all resumed, that's it. I can freely place my bet.

Same here also. There is no difference before and after on what sports will I place my bet.

As long as it resumed, I will do my usual betting like before.

In the Philippines, there is humor probably next month, but it is limited only for those person-to-person sports events. They must go under 14 days quarantine and it can be done by their private indoor. This might Explain very well, EXPLAINER: When can sports resume amid coronavirus pandemic?

That is possible as I mentioned in my other thread, games like chess, badminton, bowling, billiards can be play without a need of its usual audience.

And there are still lots of games that can be played without much physical nor close contact.

For boxing and basketball, June will be good month according to the industry analysts. There will be several other esports next month, so I doubt June will be worse than this month regarding gambling opportunities. Anyway, there is always some live event awaits on the corner of the site for gamblers.

For betting in the NBA, i think it's safe to say that in July, probably we could already bet on NBA games as the rumors of resuming basketball is on a high gear. For boxing, Bob Arum is cooking something to the fans of this sweet science. He will bring back televised boxing next month and the plan is that it would be in a crowdless arena first. They may be copying the template of what UFC have done few weeks ago in Florida.

Bottom line and my fearless forecast, we can start betting in June and it would be in boxing.

Basketball seem not possible yet. Sports event attracts crowd so much and if one Covid victim mix up the crowd, everyone could caught covid too before they even go home to their family members.

One sports production UFC of Dana White took the risk. There's still MMA every weekend despite the Covid risk if this is the kind of sports you watch then you can bet on it. Everyone I guess had noticed Tokeweed's UFC thread where they update us of the games.

I think next month will resume all kinds of sports events and gambling industries like betting probably back to their business and continue. Probably we can see that they will back slowly to their career and there are a lot of changes to it. I am sure that there will be a new normal implementation protocol before they can play again as an athlete. Nevertheless, this is not a big problem
Yeap expecting same from my end and honestly its being quite tough to spend time during lockdown without sports event now.  Although i am die hard football fan but have average thrust for boxing, basketball, horse racing and cricket. Lets hope for the best and sit tight to watch full crowded live matches soon. Hopefully that will enable options for sports betting platforms to continue their business again.

if they will follow all protocols and guidelines on how to have precautionary measures each person involved in that game, just like rapid testing and a couple of days in implementing self-quarantine.
Its the best we can do now until WHO prescribe any proven cure for the entire world.

For football props, summer will not be interesting but there is chance for September when everything turns normal. The quarantine days will be over and the leagues will back eventually.

For boxing and basketball, we can expect some updates by the month of June onwards. While waiting for those matches, haven't you tried betting with esports? It's also a common betting game for bettors and gamers at the same time.

There's no need to be good at analysis, as long as you can familiarize yourself to the teams roster, individual players, and their opponents, that's already your basis what team to bet. Do you know Dota 2 and counter strike? they have ongoing matches that you can bet.

^ This is what the most I afraid of, this is also humor in our country that there is a second wave coming or as they say a V2.0 virus.

Boxing is already coming back as early as June, with the MLB, NBA, NHL and other leagues in North America following suit as soon as they iron out the guidelines and other prerequisites in order to continue the tournaments. Football (soccer) leagues are also considering on continuing the season sans the audiences on the bleachers, and quite possibly ask for payment on viewership to at least get some profits. Anyway, most sporting events are on the horizon, provided that they are met and held with guidelines that prevent the spread of the disease further.

There are signs of slowing down in positive cases of the pandemic Covid-19.
If there will only be a vaccine. I think those sports will invest in it even with an expensive price since they can get it back easily.

Many of us here do miss betting in our sports games. NBA is my game and betting in it gives more fun for me.
Playoffs is near and that is the best time where bets are soaring.
2 more months in my opinion.

Well, they can continue the sport right now.

If they want to choose a sporting event without support and visitor at the venue, so only the organization, team, and some media can attend to the event. Avoiding a crowd of people would be good to prevent the spread of the virus if they want to continue the sport event.

This is the reason why the possibility of having matches like boxing is very possible next month. The less number of people, the better. So we may see some sportbooks alive again by next month, though only few sports will definitely make it. Badminton and table tennis are actually having their betting already.
