for now i think is not the time and what i see bitcoin will not be the main currency, countries will have their own digital currency and bitcoin will be the medium in terms of value, The government won't risk the value of their fiat to bitcoin because of volatility.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) just recently posted a picture that shows the evolution of money that people have used since the beginning of human civilization. Will IMF consider Bitcoin as a new currency?

Not necessarily maybe not bitcoin or digital currencies of other types, which most likely this digital currency's made by the government. Because the bitcoin that we have been supporting and revered its existence has been blocked by a number of regulations made by the government.

What i worry is about the misuse of cryptocurrency as digital currency. The misuse of this financial technology should be considered against the potential of digital currency to the people and its society. It is said there that  " not only because of the risks they pose, but also because of their potential to improve our lives.”What the IMF Managing Director mean is we must have an open mind about cryptocurrency not because of the news, gossips or wherever you heard of it but with a reason that you can see the potential of this digital currency.

Money is a mirage. It draws all your attention. It cunningly gains your trust. It makes you leave everything behind. It makes you believe it is your ultimate goal. As you get more and more close to it, the thirst for it amplifies. But finally it is a mirage that can never satisfy your thirst. It doesn't stop here. More thirst. More mirages.

When i think about currency than i think only about bitcoin because wanna see crypto as a core currency to all world wide. but now Fiat currency is more using worldwide by peoples. If IMF post this picture than i think this is a good picture for crypto lovers but we need source of this picture who posted. bitcoin have more possibilities to cover worldwide finance market but still take much more time.

Well, it's not just the Bitcoin but also there are some governments willing to launch blockchain technology for Fiat currencies too and that is definitely going to transform the economies in the coming decades. No doubt that we will see internet-based currencies gaining dominance in global fund transfer volume.

I think that is an illustration of the development of the pay method used by humans and as we know, in some countries bitcoin has been used as a payment instrument and maybe in the near future most countries will follow it. That's just my personal opinion.

Bitcoin. Because bitcoin is the future and the future currency is bitcoin. Bitcoin will soon surpass other currency because of its capabilities, because of its advantages, because of its perks and most especially because of the potential the bitcoin has. Bitcoin will soon be popular even in the corner of the world and everyone would love to use it.

I don't think that they will put the bitcoin as the next generation of the currencies because we can see right now that the bitcoin is not used by many people in the world and I think bitcoin should make it more popular first of all.

From my point of view, the IMF post is a fact. here I am not saying that bitcoin will be recognized as a new currency. but, it's about the fact that unconsciously the existence of bitcoin has been recorded as one of the currencies that has been used by humans. Regardless of whether bitcoin is banned or accepted by some countries, it seems that the world must be admitted the existence of bitcoin because bitcoin has been used by some people on this earth.

At the end of the day, currency is still mainly referring to cold hard cash that most of our society are using. Even talking about going digital, i still face a lot of shop owners are not used to it.

One things that comes into my mind when i heard the word crypto currwncy is bitcoin, a bitcoin that can help our future in terms of online earnings, we are now having many ways to earn bitcoin, investing or joining in different ways how to earn bitcoin is now increasing because they see a good future on it.
When they said currency, money all comes in my mind. Two types of money which is fiat and cryptocurrency. These was always come in my mind especially bitcoin when it comes to cryptocurrency because it is the number one famous cryptocurrency that was invented way back then year 2009.
Yeah I agree with you, also for me when it said the currency there in my mind is the fiat and crypto. I think the both, fiat and crypto, will continue to exist in this world. Bitcoin will be currency further in the future for our lives.

There is definitely an overtly strong statement made by the IMF in this carefully thought over image created by the IMF.  although I think it may be using the symbol of a Bitcoin to spark the idea of crypto in the now very well-known golden graphic icon/coin representation of it.Not to mention the procession of the ape to man.  With that being  seen, does the IMF see us as cash carrying credit card using Gorillas and  Homo erecti ?
