Mostly the closest people who would understand first is our family.  When they can see a proof that your in a good shape in cryptocurrency, they will believe and will be curious in asking about it.  Prove it to yourself first and explain some ideas on how you earn and sharing knowledge about it.

i wonder:
when you try to explain people about cryptocurrency do they understand?

I try to explain bitcoins to people who can easily understand computer language or other technical terms like teenagers, young adults, and some people very enthusiastic about bitcoins. It actually is a satisfying thing to do specially when they understood everything.

Someone does not understand what it is and how it works. But someone starts to be interested. I tried to tell my parents about Bitcoin. At first they were very skeptical and suspicious. But later they began to search for information on the Internet themselves and ask me more about the crypto currencies.

When I try to explain to people about cryptocurrency, I have to explain a few times, some people understand faster and some do not. LOL
Yes that's really true. After explaining to them, you may be surprise with their reactions. Some are still left empty while others have also get the point.Cryptos are really hard to understand i admit especially if you don't have any idea for cryptos from the start.

Most of them don't understand because they don't believe. It took me several times of explanation but still they reaction is the same. A reaction that they obviously don't understand cryptocurrency.
Yes same with me too.I had already share about cryptocurrencies to my friends and it seems they were clueless about cryptos. So i started explaining to them little by little tracing its history up to the present until it makes clear to them. And i also share about my personal experience with cryptos. Some have really believed on me but it took me a hard time to let them understand.

People who are excited I explain them with proofs of investment and earnings of profits then they will understand.
I mostly don't jump to reach people explaining because few may yell, so I choose people who are in problems and I guide them, they they will surely understand and start with crypto currency.

I'm new and it was explained to me by my friend and somehow I manage to get the basics but it is truly vague to understand in one explanation that is why I'm trying to self study here in bitcointalk.

It depends on the person. I explain to my friends about cryptocurrencies through examples and show them my personal earnings for them to believe in it. Make them realise the potential of bitcoin. Don't use a lot of technical terms as they will get confused and lose interest.
I don't think that's the case in most scenarios because people are still critical about bitcoin, with the banking community they are extremely critical of bitcoins just because theny stand to lose lots of profits if most of the world decides to engage in saving cryptocurrencies rather thanks banks

Well you explained and what's next? I want to tell you his reaction when you showed him that one day you earned a few hundred dollars. His reaction is to quickly withdraw. They don't understand that if they leave then you can earn more. They don't believe in bitcoin so they have no reason to leave money in bitcoins. In order to become part of the bitcoin community needs to accept the ideology of cryptocurrency.

Well, it really depends on how much time you have and how deep you want to go. The most common misconception is that Bitcoin, Blockchain, Crypto, Altcoin all mean "Bitcoin"
That drives me nuts  Angry

I also briefly explained Bitcoin's understanding to some people, and few believed in Bitcoin and the many rejections that occurred when I explained about Bitcoin, and some even considered it negative about me. With experience from now on, I'd rather keep quiet than continue explaining to everyone but getting negative feedback.

It also took me some time to explain and let them fully understand the things about cryptocurrency. There are different cases I've encountered when I'm explaining the concepts about the topic. Most of the people I'm talking with becomes interested on the benefits the cryptocurrency may offer to him but I also explain that in order to get those benefits he should be determined, industrious and an optimistic person for him not to be stressed if he encountered failure.

Almost everyone I have spoken to about Bitcoin that doesn't have any prior knowledge of it almost always writes it off within the first sentence.

It really depends on the people you are explaining to, but for my case, since the people who I tried explaining what cryptocurrencies are, are really interested because they are the same people whom I taught bitcoin too so they are very eager to learn more about the crypto world. So when I tried to explain it to them, they understand it immediately even though they have lots of questions relating to digital currency.
