It is not adviceable that you sell your coin during bear market. Your loss will be big and  you may just be selling right at the turn where market is about to go up and bull is ready to ride the market again! Holding your coin is the best strategy and sooner enough you will be in profit again.

When your tokens goes down hard, you just must hold it and wait, be patient and calm, and forget about them for a couple of months.
All tokens fall and rise, they pump and merge, so do not be a hamster and learn from stock traders and make the biggest X.

I’m new to the crypto world, I have some bad experience yet but I’m being educated little-by-little, based on my experience here in crypto world. I notice that some users when they see that bitcoin and ethereum coin had a very bad drop, so does the token, they are selling almost 70% of their holdings of that token. And I have experienced that when the market goes down, so does the token doing some panic sell.  May I ask, is it advisable to sell the tokens you hold, when the price of your token goes really down?

Nope, because it is normal to have this kind of situation like going down. This thing is called fluctuation, you just wait more time because it will grow high soon. They are doing some panic sell if they were afraid on going really down. It also depends on how much you hold, if it's high amount of money sometimes they sell it but for low amounts they just hold it until the time comes out.

Why do we sell the coin in down hard if the holding money is very much? Then we hold it if its small amount?
Is there any different strategy between small or big amount? In my opinion, its just the same treat between small or big because at the first time before investing, we try to our best to pick the right coin so so if its down i will just hold it.

No,no, there is no way to sell, otherwise you will lose everything! It is better to wait untill the drawdown has passed, and only then to sell!

am also a beginner, but I have quite good experience in the economic sphere. I believe that it is inappropriate to sell their tokens when they actively decrease. After all, the recession always goes up. I also think that the decline in the crypto-currency market was created artificially, due to the fact that there was a heightened interest in crypto-currencies and a large amount of investment in the virtual sphere. What is not really like corporations in reality.

When the value of token is going down ,i will not sell , i will just keep it to the time I might be using it when example there will be emergency in financial need,or I will just wait for the time uthe value of this token will rise up and we can gain more than I expected.

This is an individual decision what to do. I never sell with losses, this is my principe, because nobody knows when the market turns around.
Im long term investor , so, i bought great coins for ages and i dont follow the market every day trying to sell for short term profit.

Depends on the coin. If there is information about new achievements (planned entry to new exchanges, etc.), I'm holding! But if nothing happens in social media, the project "dies", I sell.

IMO, I think selling My tokens while the price is ridiculously low is absurd. It is like throwing away a large portion of your money. of course this is a fact to many altcoins but in this case, If we are talking about Bitcoin and Ethereum which are the leading Crypto today. It is not an option to just panic sell. Because sooner or later the value of both coins will rise, the economy of these coins will not drop just yet simply because Crypto is just making its way to change how everything works. People are still into it because it can hugely benefit everyone. I would never sell just because of a sudden drop because I know Bitcoin and Ethereum are volatile and so will the token, it will soon be of greater value, it just takes some time. If you really trust the token You have invested in then there is no need to worry of it dropping permanently because as long as the platform of the token has used and many people are using it, it will not just remain low in value.

Almost never. If I own a token it's for a long-term.

It's not unusual for some tokens with small cap to goes down -50% in just few hours or being pumped X00% for few hours.

Patience is what you must arm yourself with. There will be many stressful days in a long-term holding but if the plan of the team is good and their background checked pulling out the tokens is not recommended.

Like the colleague said- it happens in just a few cases that the small-cap tokens go down in a few hours and if you find yourselves within that little group that cannot sell in the time when bad things start to happen then you are the unlucky one.

To sell coins that have lost some of their value is wrong behavior. This is the way of the small holders of coins from whom large players knock coins at cheap prices. You need not yield to such manipulations, you can sell only with profit.

Try to hold to as mush as possible and wait for the price to rise up again, but when value doesn't change and keeps on going down time to panic token might be scam.

Why sell something that has already fallen dramatically in value? You think that in this way you can save your profit, but it's not so, so you are earning a lot of traders and big players of this market

The general/safe answer here is that you should hodl always.

And it's hard to generalize of course, but if you feel like there is no recovering for the said alt coin, you might want to think about cutting your losses and re-inveseting.

The market means up & down. If coins price was goes down, it doesn't mean that they can't recover back to their high price.
And that point you don't panic yourself and don't sell your coins at lower level then definitely you can get a very good profit in long term from your coins.
So hold the coins, untill the market was not recovered.

for now I choose not to sell it when it goes down hard like that, I think its better to hodl for nothing rather than sell for a loose. everyone has own it way to take care on market dip, some people want to sell it and the other buy it from panic people, but nobody know the futures.

Nope since i invest in that token that is going down hard then i have no choice but to keep holding it and to think positive that it will recover and exceed its last cap. Since we are dealing with token we all know the risk and if we invest we should learn how to have patience. For me investing is an all or nothing idea and i believe great things come to those who wait.
