That's exactly my point. And "being after profits" in crypto is nothing else but "greater fool theory". That's not what crypto was invented for in the first place. Nobody (or almost nobody) is "investing in dollar" with the "aim of making profits". True, some people are playing on forex but that is not *the bulk of the dollar transactions* nor is it the bulk of the demand for dollar, nor is it the main source of market cap of dollar.

Our ethereum fans are in "for profit", not to run dapps. Even most bitcoin fans are in "for profit" (in the long term). All these people count on greater fools to make them rich. It can even work for some. Greater fool theory works up to a point.... until one runs out of fools.

The point is that "buying cheap, and selling expensive" doesn't need any crypto. You can do that on a web site. And that's what is happening. The web site is called bittrex, or poloniex, or coinbase, or kraken or ....

and the development of crypto software ? Most of the people "investing" never use it. They stay with their web site tokens.

@shyliar , a guy working at microsoft confirmed it's ethereum. Ofcourse, we wouldn't know for sure unless he points it out, wether is private or public. Even if it's a private version of ethereum it's still ethereum. And it would be 1000000th time ethereum's technological potential as a platform is confirmed.
Edit: also, a giant like bank of american would try to be as neutral as possible, that's most likely the reason they haven't explicitly pointed out it's ethereum.
Edit2: good to know we have another real street fighter on this forum, known as Dollface. Given your and iamnotback's threats to various people, i'd say you two are quite dangerous. I may avoid you in the future with one condition: change your haircut.

The main problem with many of these news articles (specifically when they do mention ethereum) is that they don't differentiate between ETH the public chain and Ethereum the platform. They often are utilized to pump ETH even though the content primarily points at using private chains or shared chains between multiple organizations such as banks. These shared chains will have no impact on the public chain. They are interesting from the point of view of Ethereum the platform which is one of several similar type packages that might be utilized by banks.

Until ETH supporters start acknowledging this distinction in their postings the community will continue to appear to want to mislead rather than inform.

On a side note did we really need another "ETC Criminal Coin" thread?
