usually I watch MMA on Facebook streaming more often or if I'm lazy to open Facebook I choose to watch via YouTube. but for me actually watching MMA is more convenient for me on Facebook, I only need to follow a page that often broadcasts live MMA and when there is a match there is usually always a notification from Facebook that a match is in progress. so don't miss any MMA match.
Almost everything now are on facebook. The local news that usually seen on tv are also telecast there live daily. So, it's no surprise to find mma and boxing matches there although there might be some delay because we are only watching there for free but it's not totally a big deal for us poor people.

There might be live matches too on youtube and you can do the same thing like you did on facebook. Just click on the subscribe button on that channel and hit the notification bell so that you will always be updated whenever there are new uploads or livestreams on that channel. For me, in terms of streaming quality, I think youtube is better than in facebook so I go with it.

Facebook is so popular to watch live boxing streams I just watched the recent match between Casimero and Nghitumhba, there are streamers who know how to live to stream the right way without getting caught and those who do are rewarded by donations, I sometimes make a donation to motivate these streamers from sharing their stream the next time.
You just have to be patient in looking for the best live stream there are so many search results that you have to weed out the best one.
Using Facebook to view livestreaming will consume quite a lot of internet data, so it's more wasteful when compared to subscribing to YouTube or some other streaming applications.
After all, there are lots of livestreams on Facebook and the average picture quality is quite low, it's different when we use paid streaming services.
In the past, I've seen several livestreaming from Facebook, but the image results don't match the wasteful data packet used.
But it's your choice where you prefer to watch streaming.

Can we not limit this to boxing or MMA and expand it to other sports as well? I feel like it applies to all popular sports.

I have two ways to watch my favorite boxing matches and UFC matches, from a friend's house if he buys a PPV and he invited me which is very often, nothing like having a drink and exchanging thoughts while the fight is ongoing,
There was this local bar where they show live football matches on weekends. Sometimes I visit the place for a couple of drinks while enjoying my time watching there with strangers but fellow sports fans hehe. It's not technically "free" since I get to buy something in exchange of the entertainment but it's still like hitting two birds with one stone.

Sometimes, I join MMA Community.

Example Like "Discord" I also do the same things on F1. I don't pay for a subscription, some people are really kind to re-broadcasting the match to "Discord" so everyone can watch. However, there has some maximum people who can join the stream in "Discord".

Maximum 50 people. In-case all room full, need to wait some guy opened another room and re-broadcasting ~LOL.
It's the same for me i'll head over to the sportsbook discord server if I want to watch one of the matches because they always have a few people willing to stream all the matches. And they have a voice channel for that purpose since everyone joining the voice channel will always be muted.

If no one's streaming in any of the Discord servers then my alternative would be watching streams on sportsbooks like Stake. Before that, i'd use Reddit to find live streams, but they're not as good as the other options i've mentioned.

Don't really watch much boxing or MMA. PPV isn't big thing in my country. When it comes to UFC, all events is shown on paid sports TV. Boxing usually is on DAZN, their subscription is really cheap, but I'm not that big fan to subscribe. I have good IPTV, so, I find all events there.
Live podcast - WTF is that, how you can watch some talking heads instead of actual fight? And all these stream on Facebook, Youtube, Twitch and etc, usually quality of it is such terrible and it's very likely that stream will be taken off at most interesting moment because of copyrights.

It's not that we cannot afford to buy PPV live of must-watch boxing matches but if you don't want to buy a PPV where and how do you watch your favorite live fights and matches.

For me it's Facebook live streaming there are a lot of streamers that share their stream in the fight for a small donation, these streamers are wise they know what to do and how to configure their stream so Facebook will not catch them and disable their stream.
I watched the most popular fight recently the Canelo - Ryder fight and it will be my choice for big fights
how about you?
For those of us who are not in the ring country, we watched the matched from DSTV, GOTV, StarTime and other HD Decoders which transmit those live boxing match to the world. Therefore, most people watch from their home through televisions. While some other people use the internet to watch the live stream either the company website or other social medias. Using Facebook to watch is also good but do you think the full live match has been showcase there? Because Facebook uses short videos.

In television, the live is often delayed because of the television ads. You'll already know who wins the match in advance on Facebook while on TV the match has only started. Television networks are trying to fill slot time with ads. You need to have a subscription to PPV or simply just watch from the live streaming pages on youtube or facebook, they are real-time.

Youtube however is screening all these, in a matter of minutes your streaming video will be taken down.

It's free and pretty convenient as well, all you have to do is to find a legit live telecast or else you'll just waste your time.
There's a lot of site that offers the telecast for free, though I'm sure most of them are illegal but again the authorities can't do anything about it and not every viewers are willing to get PPV option. I prefer to watch on FB and Youtube, which ever gives the best telecast, I'll take it.

Watching boxing matches on Facebook livestreams is more convenient in my opinion. When I would miss the live match, I could even view it through recorded videos. I find it more engaging to connect with other viewers about their thoughts and opinions about the fighters and the match when compared to other media coverage. We can now watch our eagerly anticipated matches easily these days as opposed to in the past when we had to wait for the live telecast on televisions via satellite antenna. I occasionally move to Youtube streams when the video quality on Facebook isn't that good. However, I believe what's essential is that we can now watch our anticipated matches comfortably.

Yeah there is a lot of illegal streamer on facebook that is very convenient to watch. The interruption sometimes kill the mood when the live was taken down on middle of the fight while you don’t have back up stream. Since then I just pay PPV on matches that I really want to watch so that I will not rely on other streams.

Cable company now provides a cheap PPV for all the premium live sports. Sometimes spending money is not bad at all instead of sacrificing our own satisfaction with just minimal savings. Also the stream on facebook sometimes delayed or low quality because they are just streaming their television screen.

Most of the time we watch it on Facebook since many people will share the live of it even though they are not the official channel to broadcast it but sometimes I prefer YouTube because of less distraction I dunno but I live it more in their though. But since here in our country broadcast it on our local TV channels but the thing is there is so much delay when you watch it because they will prioritize maybe those who paid it for ppv.

Antenna TV satellite or digital broadcasts, makes it easier for us to get sports broadcasts such as football, boxing, MMA and so on, now all access to TV is via digital satellite/antenna.

Antenna TV satellite or digital broadcasts, makes it easier for us to get sports broadcasts such as football, boxing, MMA and so on, now all access to TV is via digital satellite/antenna, we don't bother to watch boxing matches/sports, directly not on Youtube, friends or facebook, we have access to all of that at home.

What are you watching on a podcast? you're watching a guy who's watching the match, it's boring and we're don't know what exactly happen on the match if we're not watch it with your eyes. So if you're not buy a PPV live or your country don't have a channel to access boxing and MMA matches, the only one solution is watching illegally from someone who willing to share it. Or you can watch the replay too.

I don't really focused on boxing or even place bet, sometimes i feels like to start going into it because a friends of mine told me is more reliable to bet on than sports betting like football. I will suggest for those who really wants to watch it live can hookup through Youtube or stream them live. Although i just made a little research on app to stream live boxing matches and i found this UFC Live Streams

Please note that i am not trying to promote any site or app, due to the question i made a quick search to get a free app or site to stream a live boxing match, also I have never used it before or even download it to my device.

Easy to watch and find friends who are also watching the match when you are on facebook, I Once tried sharing the streaming link and found my friends also watching and good to see the, comment to live stream.  They are also betting as well but on other platform.

Although I can see bookies have live streaming services, its no fun when it loads slow.

There too if I miss subscribing for pay-per-view or just endure the small screen from Stake.com which offers almost live streaming of the game/fight.

A lot of websites do offer free streaming but I would be careful with them if I were you. First, in the advertisements, a lot of pop-ups will come out. Then, there's the security issue, you don't know what your computer could get with those websites.
Instead of that, I would rather watch full replays and there are a lot of websites that also save copies of the fight without ads coming out. Just try to google full replays and you will find it in the first page.

There’s a bunch of free streaming website available on the internet if you will be patient checking it all but if you want a more convenient way then you need to pay a little bit for the premium. IPTV subscription is the one I’m using right now because it cover all the premium sports channel without the need to purchase the actual premium cost. I’m tired clicking on the ads from free streaming website while facebook streamer usually interrupted when they are detected by facebook moderator.

There’s a lot of users offering IPTV premium subscription with minimal cost. I still have some that will gonna expired this November that I get on our local forum that is related for gadgets technology. Try to browse on your local forum(outside forum that focus on tech) because some user typically drop some free IPTV subscription in there to save money although the premium subs is not that expensive compared to the actual cost of the channels subs.

I don't request loans~
Discord usually if there were some kind people enough to show it. I got linked to a few Facebook lives in the past as well so usually those two when I was alone. I've had experiences where me and my friends meetup to watch it together (or in Discord as well, whatever works really), whoever usually buys the ticket and shares decides where we go watch it, it's pretty fun. Haven't really paid for the last few ones I've watched, my passion for watching it died down quite a bit so I just watch whenever one of my friends wants some company to watch with.
