As mentioned before, nowadays they mostly playing with bitcoin/fiat. When the price of bitcoin is enough high, they will shift to altcoin world and i am sure we are going to see good waves on altcoins after summer ends
Haven't we had enough blood spilt in the alt market vs bitcoin yet. Like geez how low are these alts going to go before whales buy them up for peanuts. F U c k
Believe me there is no a group of whales that move together that is just a speculation. Let's say you have lots of money, but you cannot still be a whale, acting like a whale requires more experience and knowledge than money
Yes, that's just a guess. No one or a group can afford to do it. A whale is something very perfect. And there is nothing perfect here.

Indeed, they are keeping an eye on the progress of Bitcoin and are keenly observing every single move of Bitcoins. Whales are definitely going to come back on the scene to show their power of affecting crypto market. If the Bitcoins keep on increasing, I think these waves will not be able to handle it in any way anymore.
I really thought that some big players would Pump the one or another coin to the sky after 1st Aug. like in May .

The whales right now are just waiting for the right timing to pump the coins, I noticed when there are new projects or news about a certain altcoin mostly coins would pump at that certain date. Just an observation though.
You can smell a whale in the air when there is blood in the markets or a pump backed by a group of fanboy, they take cheap coins from newbies and go to sleep till next one.
I think there is correlation between btc prices and altcoin pumps. If btc price stands still or goes down people jump into highly speculative altcoins, whales too

Real whales do not have the need to make any trades, they already have more than enough BTC already, I do not think many whales participate in pump and dumps they are going to be the ones at the greater risk of losing money since they need more users to participate in the pump than any other. Can someone explain ? Too early ?

most of whale nowadays is early adipter of bitcoin or ethereum, just hold your bitcoin or ethereum, why ? because no matter which coin pumped it will be back to bitcoin or ethereum

Second one (SAFEX) is a 100% pump and I wouldn't buy right now.
About whales, I've notice a 800K investment overnight in DIMCOIN. I guess they are relaxing after the 1st Aug BTC game and are investing in some ICOs.

you can not pump altcoins 24/7/365 you need to give it a rest sometime and take the money out, let the newbies be crushed and flushed out and then come back when the market was clean and at the bottom to make huge amount of profit not beg for small rises.
and also bitcoin like always is attracting all the attention. when the price went above $3000 it was a game over for most altcoins.
With Bitcoin pumping the way it is now, no one cares actually about altcoins. If the steam reverses i.e. Bitcoin price drops, you can be sure all this money will fly to altcoins and you will have an all-green day !
I believe the whales will appear soon after the market become stable. Since the altcoins' prices are low now, maybe they are accumulating the coins?
