I read something like this on the internet some months ago.

Why do we have to blame our gambling recklessness these insignificant things rather than on our indiscipline?

How many of actually look at a wall clock in a day? These are not the things that make a person hyper focused on the gambling game. The things that makes us hyperfocus is our mindset- what we have fantasized about the game before going in to gamble, our plans - most of us gamble without any plans, no risk management plans, no budget plans etc. and others.

Let's always tell ourselves the truth. That is the first step to being free from whatever hold we think that casinos have on us.

I think that the answer can have something to do with the extroversion/introversion traits of different users. While introverts may hyper focus more on their smartphones, tablets or computers, the extrovert may feel more comfortable in a more exciting environment. The first needs little stimuli to engage, while the latter much more. But without further, scientific research, it's a mere theory that intuitively makes sense.

I like the free money more than energy drinks and no time limit. Also, online gambling can be done at home with free water, less expensive food, and healthier if you cook it on your own.  

Physical casinos are an expensive habit. I've been there and I can say that anywhere you look at means "ka-ching". Yeah, you will spend money on anything they will offer you or you see.

I only playing gambling in online casino and not in offline casino. If I playing gambling in offline casino, I am afraid that I can spends too much money because I will buy some food or drinks to stay me awake and focus to playing gambling.
Besides that, I can spends too much time which can makes me spends much money to playing gambling. I can lose more money if playing gambling too long and that can makes me upset if I lose much money.
