Luckily I have some spare rooms in my home at the moment so I have them here, noise level has been ok, electricity rate is not too cheap though, works out at 0.145 in USD/KW/h

It is good you can use office space and electricity.

Do you still keep them at home, did you rent warehouses, did you put them in server racks and move them to data centers, or are you using any other solution? What is the most beneficial way and cheapest electricity long term these days?

I keep it at home in the special room where I work, the room has been designed to build a mine.

For the power supply, I use solar panels combined with my own assembled electrical converter, so that the power generated can be maximized.

I keep mine in a dedicated room in the basement during the summer time.  At first I was using a 800 CFM exhaust fan, but that created negative pressure in the hole house and I did not want to add an fresh air inlet since the hear and humidity in Virginia is pretty awful in the summer months.  So I installed a high efficiency 2 ton mini split, which does a great job keeping everything cool.  It will pull the room all the way down to 62 degrees if I want, but I set it at 75, and it doesn't have to work that hard.

Now that cold season is approaching, I'm scattering the miners around the house for free heat.  The biggest pain about that is installing 240V outlets everywhere since I'm using Delta 2400W PSUs for almost all my miners, and they only accept 240V.

Interesting.  I'm running a 10" can fan q max that pulls 900-1023 cfm.  A way to combat the negative pressure is to use an oversized by 2x or more air filter.  After I did this I have just slight negative pressure in the room.  I sealed off my door with window sponge trim so any negative pressure is only isolated in the dedicated office miner room.

I'm in Thailand here, we are in the rainy season at the moment, so ambient temps are around 29 Celcius with high humidity, my chip temps vary between 57 - 62, so far my hashing rate is stable. However in the afternoon when we get to 32 celcius I do turn the AC on. In the hot season, temps 34 - 35 celcius I suppose AC will be a must. They are placed that the hot air vents out of the window.
In a box wouldn't that make it hotter ??

Running ac is an unnecessary added expense. Use exhaust fans and vent it out of the house. Do add dedicated circuit and wires for mining.

I keep them in my parents house. I get free power since they pay for electricity anyway. Gives me an initiative to come and visit them with my kids from time to time and also provide them free heating during winter time.  Grin

I used to mine in South Carolina (Charleston), so I think I can speak a little about that. In hotter areas ventilation is especially important, it's good to install several fans in wherever you are keeping your miners and they'll run fine(large ones with high CFM are good for low noise, remember to have airflow in and out). Also remember to test for a little bit after you finish setting things up to make sure you truly have everything done right.

Anyone live in the Florida area, or of similar climate? Thinking of putting my miners into an enclosure and fixing up one of the small "offices" in my barn to store them, just unsure if they would overheat, even with good ventilation. Anyone in these areas posting pics/ideas would be great thanks

I live in texas so yes its no problem but make sure you add a ton of ventillation.  I have 9000 cfm in my 120 square foot room running 30 miners in that house.  2 other houses running 20 each have 6000 cfm

I am currently relying on my own home in running the mine even though the cost of electricity must be too much but not an obstacle for me to continue to try it out at once there is a very strong conviction to become a successful person will be the main driving factor.

My basement, living in the UK so it's pretty cold in the winter, no need for external cooling. I run on low power limit so it's not that loud.

At my office. Here government charge a lot for residential electricity usage.

I hope you own the office or at least pay for the electricity you are consuming.

Anyway to answer the question, i for one am storing my miners at my residential home. This way, i get a free reboot watchdog (our house helper) and at the same time I get to modify and optimize my miner whenever i want. Just make sure that if you're keeping it at home you have safety precautions just in case of fire.

Guys, how many antminers can handle 50 sqm room with one 1x0,5m window fully opened (no ventilation) and all the antminers outlets pushed outside of the room?
Thank you

If you put the antminers directly in front of the open windo and the air can blow out, its possible to put about about 10 inside.
But you need another hole or something in the wall to get fresh air ...

We have a similar situation and have 6 s9 blowing out :-)
