Amazon will sell you one that you'll never be able to make any money from. But you can still mine.

Hi! Can you tell me please what is ROI there?
Thanks!

I try cloumining  on mininswdeden !!

roi is return of investments, basically the most important thing to calculate before investing in anything

Amazon will sell you one that you'll never be able to make any money from. But you can still mine.

better to buy one used, you will achieve roi faster, no need to go for the new toy in the mining scene

OP you buy anything?

For a hobby miner rockminer.com the "new r-box" is PERFECT.  Only draws 110 watts.

For a little more beats mode:

Bitmain or spondoolies.

I have purchased from Rockminer twice, Bitmain 3 times.

Each time miners came with in a week, great condition.  My S3's have been mining straigh, no issues for over a year. (Buy an S3 from kijij is a smart move they are cheap now).

My "new r-box" has been running for over 6 months no issues, I use it to mine my fav altcoin to increase it's secuirty.

I get free electricity for the next year. Any miner recommendations that would pay off before that?

Just curious,
how did you get this rare free electricity?

actually there isn't real free electricty, in most case(or better to say in all case) the electricity is payd by someone else, i'm sure he is in the same boat...

In the later days of my personal mining I had added cloud mining to cope with Difficulty, instead of expanding own hardware further. Just outcome was never really compareable with self owned hashrate.

For someone with power cost over $0.10 per KW at home mining will not be profitable and an option like --DELETED-- is viable.

Except ask yourself one question.  Why would any honest actor provide this service?

Let's say the provider lives in an area where he is allowed to steal electricity from the local taxpayers (artifically subsidized power costs, such as in China or wherever).  Let's say the provider has the hardware to actually do the hashing.

It's clear that a dishonest provider could run a scam by renting out hashing power for more than it earns.  But assuming the provider is honest, under what circumstances would it be more profitable for the provider to rent out that hashing power than it would be to just use it?

... crickets chirp ...

That's right!  No circumstances at all!

Making a deal with someone who makes less profit in that deal than s/he would by not making it, is asking to be ripped off.  Because it's dead solid that no such actor would be there if they aren't trying to rip you off.

the best one is the s5 of course but s3 is much cheaper, and if electricity does not count, then it is probably a better alternative, but only if you can found it for something like 0.5 btc 1/3 of the s5(those are used machines price)

I suggest you take a look at sites like zoomhash, but know these units are sold used.

So its a bit of gamble if you dont get a really dirty miner you have to clean. But, they offer decent comparable forum prices with the whole credit card option.
