I want to buy a few ripple, somewhat quickly.  Where can I buy ripple at?

Have you tried www.ripplewise.com? It's really fast and they take BTC.

You can get FREE RIPPLES from my faucet. -> RippleGiveaway.com

Faucet is kind of a waste of time for ripple since you have to have a funded account for it to work.

No wonder.. well, so much for my first Ripple!

I don't see where the scam is.  I  have read it, but I don't see it.

It's not actualy a scam. But.. It hasn't belong to BitcoinTalk, because it's centralized system. Just a copy of real money...

I am buying it to be able to sell it later.

Having to have ripple to buy ripple is ridiculous

Well, if you have a bitcent lying around, someone will get you started pretty easily.

I do, make me an offer, a decent one

The reserve is to pay transaction fees and open trust lines.  It's all to prevent spam. You can buy direct from Bitstamp at a premium to fund your account.  Other gateways like SnapSwap give away 2000XRP for signing up and adding a Dwolla account.  I'd suggest you learn about what you're putting money into before you use it.

Ask Ripple Labs aka OpenCoin. They ought to sell ripples, it's their business.
