Actually at first It comes to my mind if where can I spend my bitcoin, so I can use it directly not cashing it out to spend, so I just made it like this, convert bitcoin to fiat to spend directly, like putting to card, and so how I spend it. Most of the countries of the world including mine, does not have much options to spend the bitcoins directly.
Depend on the user's country, my friend has been working in Japan and the payment system over there has been accepting bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. They can use it at mini market even to pay a cup of coffee. Maybe you have the point of view such this due to your country still ban bitcoin and cryptocurrencies to be use as payment system, but for those countries who accept it I'm sure there will be many merchant who use it.

Bitcoins is Spreaded all over the e-commerce business and internet,don't know how much list can i comment here, in think you need to do proper keyword research on it whether you are allowed to exchange bitcoins for currency or whether you are allowed to pay in bitcoins and whether is there any taxes or premium involve in transaction, you can easily google it and find the top places where you can use bitcoins for necessity things.
Amazon are offering Vouchers and Coupons on Bitcions, i didn't get to know whether they offer Bitcoin as payment or not .By the way thanks for sharing the links here, it will easy for me and other to book mark and use it for future purposes.

There was a post about 2 weeks ago with an extensive list of
online shops where we can spend bitcoin.
I know of ETSY.com but it depends on each merchant there to
manually set his shop to accept Bitcoin.
Also Overstock.com accept Bitcoin but I have not purchased from them.

You can try cryfter.com . They accept ALT(LTC and Doge maybe) coins as far as i remember. They do have different kind of digital goods. Bought a lot of gift cards and play store cards from them. Yes, you can buy domain name and hosting service though bitcoins very easily and no need for credits cards and all such hassle which we used before when option was only through credit cards.
