Mining is no longer an efficient way to earn bitcoins. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend any cloud mining operations to you. It's better to just buy bitcoin and hold until the price goes up.
Mining is efficient if you're able to get excellent hardware at a steal with low electrical fees and possibly low rent. The huge mining operation doesn't affect too much as more miners = more overall profit and not more profit/ASIC unless they are solomining which requires a lot of hashpower. Holding Bitcoin can be a bad idea if you buy it at the peak which no one knows.

i have researched that mining is an very efficient way of earning some btc (bitcoins). where do i start with mining? should i invest in mining in the cloud or mining equpment? which is better?

For me, cloud mining is much better... no need to think about elect. bill, equipment, heating etc.

You can buy hashing power on www.bit-x.com and get mining reward every day.

You will have to worry about it turning into a ponzi and running away. The electrical bill part is quite wrong. Even though you don't have to pay any electrical bill, you have to pay maintenance fees and electrical bills are already included in it with some maintenance cost. It could end up being more expensive than mining yourself. Some cloudmining companies may be legit but nothing stops them from running away.

That being said, if it is legit and you aren't looking for profit, you won't have to maintain it yourself and you don't have to worry about hardware failure. I still don't see any point in doing that since you can't really feel the mining experience.

mining is a very efficient way to earn bitcoin but you can no longer mine bitcoin on your own with simply using your pc.
and i just want to add to what others said about cloudmining, be careful about where you invest your money because most of them are ponzi scams and you will lose your money.
you can see this topic for some good info:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.9697654

additionally cloudmining does not have a good ROI

Personally, I wouldn't start bitcoin mining.  It is not very profitable at all.  If you are determined to give it a go check out these sites.

Bitcoin Wiki - https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining

Cloud mining is good, yes. But be sure to invest on trusted sites like bit-x and not those ponzi cloud mining which only operates to take people's money

yes maybe you can  started with cloud mining

plenty of untrusted among cloud mining, i find that only two of them are legit, also in general their maintanance fee is 50% of your income, so roi is very far away, your gain over a standard phisical miners isn't that different, if you have good electricity, 0.1 or below

many are ponzi in disguise, they do not own any hardware

Cloudmining is not very profitable.. In fact it's hardly profitable.. Mining at home also.. But if you insist, I would suggest wait for Antminer S6 from Bitmain to mine at home or/and invest in Hashnest if you are up to try cloudmining. All the others are more risky and about the same profitable. Not talking about ponzies (which may seem more profitable, but are going to steal your money in the end..), but legit operations of course Wink

First of all, you need to check the electricity cost in your country. If it's profitable or not. Bitcoin mining draws an enormous amount of electricity so that's the first thing to check.

These days, with the price of BTC, mining is one of the hardest ways to make BTC.   You are better off either buying BTC with fiat and waiting for the value to rise, joining a sig campaign, or selling another good or service for BTC.   Unless you have free power, it is difficult to make any profit on mining.

Start mining from some Alt coins. Yes! Because, directly mining bitcoin is might be not profitable. So if you're interested in mining try to mine some alt coins. Reffer minergate.

~Rude Boy

can the same btc miners work with alternate coins too?

thank you for the help everybody

Refer this -> www.coinwarz.com/miningprofitability/sha-256 <- might help you

In my personal experience, I've started my cloud mining from my very first faucet earnings. However the ROi period is long, so I've cashed out my GHS and stopped my cloud mining that time. However, since I have extra coins from my signature campaign, I've invested in two sites now and I have about 32 GHS of hashing power now.

However, mining is now not a efficient way to earn bitcoins, though it was few years ago. In my opinion, cloud mining is better than equipment (if the site is safe and not scam), because you don't need to manage the equipment yourself.

In early-2014 "cex.io" aka Ghash.io's 10 Gh/s mining speed could help you to get like 0.01 BTC every week or so, basic math- 10 GHs = 0.01 100 = 0.1 1000 = 1 BTC if difficulty doesn't change and stays same.

But, right now with 1 Th/s (1000 Gh/s) you can't even mine 0.1 BTC every week.

So to "earn" some noticeable Bitcoin, you'd need at least 15~ Th/s speed.

As others have said, mining wont make you very much Bitcoins. I mine for fun and it does generate some small amounts of Bitcoins on the side. Fast miners are very expensive, and I usually dont use cloud mining, so I cannot provide my thoughts on that.

start by getting some millions $ to buy mining stuff.

you'll need it to make it profitable and to reduce hardware costs
