Thats true that, it's difficult to have good referrals, i think that having a blog about gambling and casinos offers could be a good start, but you will need to work on it and actualize it. I tried with my facebook account and i had some referrals on gambling casinos, but normaly users registered for free promos, and just recieved some refferals Smiley.

I have managed to get some good referrals from making a Youtube video. Tried many other way such as facebook posts and forums but, it didn't work for me. Spamming on forums and live chats are good for nothing as they often lead to get a ban on our accounts. Mostly, people don't like to use referral links. Making clickable images or banners gives result.

The problem with referral links is to get active referrals. After one year in my signature campaign I’ve had many referrals who registered on the site but none of them spent any money.
True, it's hard to find the most active ones that will stay to you forever. I have read someone that made more than 1 BTC within few days through his active referrals.
If you are focused of getting more, you have to be consistently adding more.

That's why quality referrals are more important to earn money from this method. It is not a one-time thing that you get few referrals now and forget it because people may move on to new games and new sites exploring so you have to be getting referrals constantly to make some money. We just need to keep trying our best to find more and more new referrals and in that, we may get some quality referrals.

The best way to promote your ref link is to promote it on a forum if it's related to gambling then buy a banner here, or ask high rank members to wear your signature. Secondly use quora and Reddit but understand first how you can do it, otherwise you'll get it messed up. One can even promote it on YouTube and Facebook, Instagram good way to get traffic.

You have just answered your question. Most of the successful marketers are getting their referrals through their blogs. They would also start to create a community on social media. Adding all the possible referrals
Blogs can not show the old influences, blog owners usually do not care about blogs.

If one publishes a useful information on their blog post and if a user finds the answer to their issues then they will try to follow those bloggers. People who trust these writers may click some of the advertisements on their blogs to find out more info. So there are chances that one can still get a referral from blogs but very difficult nowadays compared to social media promotions.

The best way a good content video which is related to the product your promoting. Upload to youtube and facebook and other social media sites to attract more people. If your content is good then surely you will get some referrals.

I came across your post searching for the same terms. So, recently I've been scouring the web for airdrops and bounties. I'm really actually enjoying learning about the new [Suspicious link removed]panies and I've generated over 100 referral links in a short time. I figured it would be a good idea to compile them to share with friends and eventually put together this Steemit post and telegram channel.

Crypto Referrals and Airdrop Links:
https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@mendocrypto/mendocrypto-airdrop-links

Telegram Airdrops Channel:
https://t.me/mendocryptoairdrops

So far, I have a really limited following on Steemit and Telegram... like basically nobody. Not very many of my organic audience is involved in crypto. So, I'm thinking there will be some facebook groups and subthreads where referral links are permitted, but in general it's really hard not to come across as a total spammer. I mean, the real question here is, "what's the difference between an enthusiastic sincere community member's posts and those of a spammer?" Because you can basically engage communities out of sincere interest and desire to share, and be totally misunderstood. Ultimately, I think it will be necessary to make your referral links sort of an afterthought, you know? Like, it's there in your signature on your posts and people can scope it out if they like what you're saying about something else. That's how I would try to police things if I were the admins, but I haven't really read all of the guidelines on this forum yet and I have already earned myself a little ip ban from them which cost me a few precious Satoshis! Just my 2c.

Usually I don't like seeing old threads like these being bumped, but in this case it's still pretty relevant.

I've also been using Steemit to promote some referral links, but I don't do it by spamming.
I try to write good articles and post 1 promotional banner with referral link under every article I write.

This works pretty good and I've gotten quite a few referrals on different websites. Though gambling does not tend to be that popular on Steemit.
You'd do better by promoting other things, ICO's perhaps?

I've got 400 followers on Steemit, with my articles averaging around 10 - 15 USD.

So just curious. I haven't ever been able to get good referrals from anything I have tried.  Where do people actually post these?  Their own blog, website?  Do they just have good word of mouth with actual friends?  Would love to know some thoughts out there.

You can promote in your signature itself but choose the sites carefully. It is very important to sign up for referral campaign with a reputed and legitimate online casino. There are independent regulators which verify these online casinos. If you sending referrals to a fraud casino, you will never see any earning even after they convert.

It's important to choose wisely, but there are great programs running now that actually work. I've been wearing the yolodice signature for some time and got a couple referrals. One of them even wagered a decent sum and got me some money. Just don't think that you can make a lot by having a code in your signature. Not many people are high rollers and those who are don't choose a random person to benefit from their bets.

Obviously it is not a good way to promote a fraud casino, why people should do it if there are many other better casinos to promote and earn from the affiliate program.
Putting referral link on our signature is indeed a good way to get referrals but is not that easy. We may get some referrals but it is not a guarantee that they are real players who can give us some earning from affiliate commission.

Well in my own experience where i post my referral links on blog, other forums should be reputative so that you can get more referrals. and other ways like i tested few weeks ago youtube video plus facebook as referral site and if it will be keep it viral and successful you can get more referrals... depends if youtube video you made is attractive..
besides create blog do not underestimate the power of social media because if you have plenty friends on your facebook or twitter account then most likely you will get many referral active and i think to promote referral links using social media will be good way but you have to make sure the sites that you are promoting really paying not scam

I'm not a blogger but I find this very useful for those people who are depending on their referral links. And by just simply creating a blog that can really be an effective way of promoting some referral commissions through it. After describing some things about a certain product or services and by just hyperlinking your referral links that can make you an instant one.
I am not a blogger myself as well but I can make money with posting in different forums and of course you need to be a trusted member of the forum you are posting and you can interact with other members so they will be attracted to gamble.

So far my referral is on a gambling site.

most referrals I managed to recruit was 13.800 for one of the gambling sites
also just recently did 2.900 for one of the dice sites, which is currently offline
you do need money to get quantities but free promotion works well too
its compromise between time and money investment, adding links manually take time and sometimes its better to pay

-snip-

This is a interesting post that summarizes many of the ways promoting referral links, even the format is hard to read. I tried most of the described ways and I agree to most. Except point 6) and 7) did absolutely not work for me. Maybe my approach was wrong or not ideally but I have never gotten referrals through it. PTC sites are also not that good as many think. I do not know how so many people promoting referral links there. If you are lucky and get referrals then most are inactive or activity is very low.

I think it depends on the niche when you promote PTC sites. For example, if you are promoting a gambling referral link on PTC sites, you might not get many clicks as they probably don't have extra money to gamble.

However, people on PTC sites want to earn more bitcoins, so if you promote a site such as a faucet or a site where you can get free bitcoins, you'll probably get a nice amount of referrals.
