localbitcoins

Just like this person mentioned. Localbitcoin.com usually because of the escrow in place. Esp, when doing a large amount.

I normally but bitcoins here on the forum or other places but I have to recommend usin local bitcoins to buy bitcoins as it seems to be the most safe way. And if you buy on the forum please use a trusted escrow so both party's are safe

Get a friend to buy from a bitcoin ATM for you and pay him back by cheque.

Flashman, are you aware of the "problems" at Vircurex right now?

I think they just turned the corner, which is why I am using them again and recommending them. New users/incoming balances are now isolated from the liability associated with the previous coin theft. I am confident that every coin there available for trade is 100% backed. This might be more than can be said for some of the less established exchanges which have not been sweating under the eye of public scrutiny for the last 6 months.

The easiest way is localbitcoins or a safe exchange (like bitstamp).

I don't but many are using Bitstamp.net. It's the mostly used exchange around here.

Well if this question is because you want to buy some, knowing your current country of residence would be helpful in determining what the best options are for you.

If you already have some of the more popular altcoins and want to buy bitcoin with those, then this place works https://vircurex.com/welcome/index?referral_id=869-14179
