Seems everyone agrees. In 10 years it will be worth a fortune or next to nothing.  The question is which?

1 month - No major changes, but price down to $300

1 year - Possibly major adoption with price of around $5,000. Otherwise, continued hype cycles and selloffs between $100-$800

5 years - Bitcoin has been replaced. Price <$10

1 month: $340.

1 year: $25.

5 years: $0.05.

Heh, we think alike! I dont think it will break below $100 significantly within a year though.

1 month = 500 $
6 mos (Q1 2015) = 750 - 1,250 $
1 year (Q3 2015) = 1,500 - $2,500 $
2 years (2016) = 3,000- 5,000 $
5 years (2019) = 6,000 - 12,000 $
10 years (2026) = 25,000 - 100,000 $
15 years (2031) = $ 500,000 +
20 years (2036) = (fiat scrip no longer exists)
40 years (2056) = (capitalism no longer exists)

I am wondering what you think will replace capitalism?  The alternatives are rather terrifying.

1 month - $200-$350 (downtrend continues, even though dead cat bounce/fake rally not impossible)

1 year - $10-$100 (party is coming to an end, people are realizing bitcoin is nothing but a speculation vehicle, that it won't make it as a next big thing, that they won't get rich, even speculators are getting out before final capitulation)

5 years - sub $10 (only fanatics, criminals and die hard cultists remain)

1 month = 300-400 $
1 year = 1,300 - $2,000 $
2 years = 7,000- 9,000 $
3 years = 30,000- 50,000 $
5 years = 300,000 - 600,000 $
30 years =  (price is irrelevant , fiat becomes minor part of world economy)
60-80 years  =  (FIAT no longer exists)

As the title states, share your beliefs!

Personally:

1 month - Same as now (price wise, no major adoption taking place)

1 year - Price is 'steady' at 2k, adoption by a few chains online and fewer locally.

5 years - Price is still at 2k, adoption is close to peaking, with most retailers accepting it online and some locally.

1 Month (500-600)

1 Year Depending on the speed we come out of the selling pressure curve caused by merchant adoption
Either (700 or 3250)

5 Years Adoption and selling have balanced out at this point in time we have a good stable network of flows and ebbs
So around 3000 stable to 10,000

Beyond Imagination
The price is always decided by daily coin supply and daily fiat money inflow. The daily coin supply can be calculated at about several thousand coins (see my signature), but daily fiat money inflow is unknown

Long term wise, the daily coin supply will eventually stabilize at certain level, but you need continuously increased fiat money inflow to get a higher and higher exchange rate. The question is: What is the ultimate reason that daily fiat money inflow increases year over year?

I can think of 3 reason:

1. Current fiat money system must exponentially increase money supply, otherwise the debt can not be repaid, so each year more and more fiat money are available to purchase bitcoin

2. New people get more confident in using bitcoin and the user base increases year over year, this will last at least several years, maybe one decade

3. Same people put more and more fiat money into bitcoin, this will last until they reach their pre-defined harvest time, 2-20 years later

1 month - 450 - 800 - AVG Price = 650
1 Year - 500- 10000 - AVG Price = 4,000
5 Years - 4000-1,000,000 - AVG Price = 200,000+

Numbers are based on me just being overly optimistic + research from several other models two come to mind: / https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/stephen-reeds-million-dollar-logistic-model-366214 / https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/estimating-the-energypower-consumption-of-the-bitcoin-network-694401
