Expect from coinmarketcap where i can check about crypto events
actually mate using simple research you can see some crypto events, but i don't know if most of them are legit since some of the advertisement in google were not trustworthy. But you know it depends if you know you're in a good project because you can assure all the information using basic is legitimate or not. It's easy to determine to be honest if you pick a genuine projects and trustworthy wherein there's no fake information.

Simply you can follow any of crypto news portal which must be an enough resource to keep tracking about major crypto related events worldwide.

If you want to know about upcoming ICO/IEO or airdrop/bounty programs then I guess no exact thing will help you as you must need to follow at least more than 5 different platform. Moreover, it may not remain profitable if you participate in ICO or airdrops.

...It helps me a lot in Trading because I know news that will hype the market and news that will make the market bearish.

As soon as the announcement of the upcoming event is published, the price of the coin associated with this news immediately increases. In this case, you should be one of the first to know about the upcoming event, otherwise you will be forced to buy at an already increased price.

Look up "cryptocurrency events calendar" and you'll get lots of choices.

https://coindar.org/
https://coinscalendar.com/
https://coinmarketcal.com/en/
https://cointelegraph.com/events
https://www.coindesk.com/events/
https://coinloop.io/cryptocurrency-calendar
..., etc

There's actually way more than expected... unless someone is able to give their personal experience on your first picks, you should probably observe them for a few weeks first to see which has less garbage content and which is more updated.

I agree.

But I love the most is coinscalendar because their interface is very user-friendly, so you won't get confused about how their website works. I just wanna add www.cryptopanic.com if you guys want to read updated news about cryptocurrency. It helps me a lot in Trading because I know news that will hype the market and news that will make the market bearish.

Expect from coinmarketcap where i can check about crypto events
My personal favorite is https://bravenewcoin.com/events , which generally has all the events from listings to conferences to coin burns, but I personally think most of the websites just copy-paste all the events from coinmarketcap website itself, because you won't find any additional events in different calendars, generally, they are all the same. You have asked this question in Trading discussion makes me feel you are going to make trades based on the upcoming events, I personally would tell you to avoid doing it, it can be highly deceptive, as a layman it's difficult to predict which event would trigger what thing for that coin.

Coinmarketcap got a section for this - https://coinmarketcap.com/events/
But for me, it's not really more information as it is not their main use, but you can still use it and use multiple platforms such as Coinmarketcal (much advisable).
There are a lot of new platforms now, I can add Coinpredictor (https://coinpredictor.io/calendar).

My advice is always to verify after using these kinds of platforms, like checking different social media or announcement platforms of every project you found, like checking their Twitter account or telegram or discord to verify if this platform listing is legit.

I wonder how @OP can gather all of the data since many resources from members who suggest their favorite websites Grin

Coinmarket calendar will be enough for me to know what events from the project as I am not too actively following new project update. You need to search for the other resource to find what will happen to the project if they almost get in the event because sometimes, nothing is happening to the project and it is just a usual event to update the project.

Expect from coinmarketcap where i can check about crypto events

Coinmarketcap is one of my favorite crypto calendar so far since it has a voting system to measure how hot the event and also to verify if the event is legit or not. But you can always follow the social media of your favorite project and crypto news to make sure you will be updated on crypto news. You need to DYOR and make some effort to find the best news about upcoming events.

Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!
I checked all telegram bot and twitter. They are very helpful but they update the event late. Best way to check the event earlier are by following their twitter page and on Notifications. When any launch like exchange listing,AMA,Roadmap etc you will find earlier than other.

A dozen of links mentioned, but based on experience I'd say the best would be CoinMarketCal[1].

Not sure if making traders based on events/updates still works though.

coinmarketcal became the main reference website for me to check out the calendar of upcoming crypto events and it is very comprehensive.
even i also use Bot on coinmarketcal on telegram and it is very efficient. there will be a notification of every event that will occur.
not only on telegram, twitter bot is also available so that it will be more uptodate and will not miss the latest and upcoming news events.

This quite helpful, I do know it exist but never had tried of looking for one, my friends just send me links on what's new and events that might be affecting the crypto space, especially when there are celebrities and known influencers are involved.

There are so many links that you have got with you from various members which will help you to know about different events that are going to happen at different locations and will be informed about the same. The one mentioned by mk4 is good and most used. You can simply check by googling the keywords and you would come across so many links and check out of them as there is not much of false information in them like the one I found here :

https://itez.com/events

There are so many others which you can check according to your needs.

Most of the events are useless and do not affect the price, but some events have a short-term effect such as breaking legal news, upcoming updates, hardforks and some of them have a long-term effect such as halving.

Personally, I use https://coindar.org/ as my new tracking site with some RSS news update and then build a buying strategy once I make a profit i will sell it. It's a good strategy, but it doesn't always work.

Other alternatives:

Don't try to use too much of it.

There are really too many of them, aside from those that were mentioned here are another few additional of them.

https://www.coinevents.co/
https://cryptototem.com/ico-calendar/
https://icodrops.com/
https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/events
https://kryptocal.com/

If that's still not enough, for you to have them just use your time and search for all of them easily. You can basically find a bunch of them and they're like unstoppable calendar websites for crypto.

Crypto events are one thing but since crypto is very correlated with stocks at the moment you should be checking for any important market events which typically are released by the Fed.

Basically go to Forexfactory.com
Click on Calendar
Adjust to your time zone

And pay attention to any RED events with the US currency. Employment numbers don’t have an effect on crypto however FOMC and CPI lately are very closely correlated.

What specific events you’re looking for? Are you looking for the upcoming new projects or upcoming updates?
Well, cointelegraph can be your other option as they make updates on every news but I don’t see any exchange listing update on this aside from the exchange itself and the project itself.
