You can sell your mobile at the mobile stores that offer exchange mobile offers nearby your marketplace. But your phone resell value is determined upon the condition of your phone.
yeah there are plenty of stores not that accept swapping in which they will assess the value of your old phone and will less the amount for the new unit that you will buy from them also.

but i think this is available mostly in asian and african countries but in europe or US?maybe there are limited stores that gives offer?

The best option for more comments that have been generated in recent months is EBAY. There you can sell your phone at a fair price and safely.

just post on your social media account and you will find buyers, sometimes trash for us is very important to others so why need to make this a big deal when you can just simply find buyers around your circle of friends or neighbor maybe?

You can sell it on Ebay or even at Facebook Marketplace.
Also, there are some physical shops where they will buy for phone and give you an amount of money in order to buy a new one from their shop. But you have to search in your neighborhood about that.

You need to know something, you actually paid 100% more price when you buy an IOS because for a single unit of IOS device sale, company makes 60 to 70% of profit from the cost value. So it doesn't worth to make few bucks when you bought that even you know it is over priced.

Of course, iOS devices are way pricier but they also hold on to their resale values.

I agree on the production costs being way lower than retail but you must understand they have to handle labor, advertising and supply costs. Unless you can somewhat make your own phones, we've to fork out.

I've been selling my own phones over the years and many still fetched 30 - 40% of their RRP. Not too shabby, and the savings allow me to upgrade without paying full price.

Logic is simply,if you can afford new mobile then just throw away the old one.

I'll always sell my cellphone for extra cash especially if it's an iOS one.

A little extra effort is worth salvaging more resale value. Smiley

Hello Everyone,
I am ABC and thinking to sell my mobile because I am using it for the last 2 years. Now I have bored with it and want to purchase the brand new phone for me. But before buying the new one, I want to phone recycle first. I don’t have any idea where I should sell it. If anyone of you knows some reliable & famous online website to sell the phone, then please let me know. I am looking forward to your response. I would be grateful for your response.

First you need to tell us

1- What is your phone make and model
2- Which country do you live

i prefer you can sell your phone in your local mobile market shops rather than selling it online.
maybe OP needs to answer this questions first before we can finally give him a concrete answer, because there might  a chance that he is near to someone in this forum, and there are some interested party to purchase his old mobile.

or in some countries there are mobile exchange when you can swap your oldphone and get your ideal new phone with lower amount since you are leaving them your old one.

Does your country have ecoATM which is a mobile recyling atm and you will get paid money instantly for your mobile based on its condition but it will not give the best price.

https://us.ecoatm.com/

I've seen videos of that, the prices are just like going to a pawn shop.
Sometimes you will get price for mobiles which is not in working condition and sometimes working brand new will have single or double digit figures as price.

Logic is simply,if you can afford new mobile then just throw away the old one.

Try posting it on Goods --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=51.0

There is a chance that there's someone from the same country you are located that can put interest on it.
