If one does not want to waste time on research, there is bitcoin for them. And there is no minimum or maximum investment rule, you can continue buying even $10 worth of bitcoin till the next bull run.

Otherwise LUNA too was a big setback for the buyers.

Yes, It is not wise to invest in such projects which are of no use case (such as shib and some ***moon) and the first choice should be always bitcoin and then some layer-1 projects as you have already mentioned eth and bnb are strong layer-1 projects, and will not die during this bear market.

Before investing it is necessary to do some research but with bitcoin I think we can still buy at this price and then we can start adding to our knowledge of the market. Bitcoin is not like altcoins, bitcoin no matter how deeply it falls, it will surely rise again later, so investing in bitcoin is nothing to worry about if you invest excess money without any effect your daily needs.

About altcoins if you are unsure and don't know anything about them then it's best not to invest in even the top altcoins.

Invest on the amount which you can afford to lose which had been the most or primary rule on investment world not only on crypto but also in other investments as well.Just make sure that you wont really be making
yourself too relying on other calls and speculations or investment decisions. Make your own analysis and rely on it and its not bad to follow other suggestions and ideas.

Invest on things that you do see to be worth on the future or good for long term or as you could see that it would really be beneficial and profitable for you.
Dont make yourself greedy and impulsive in terms of emotion.

Invest on what you can afford to lose and dont go all in because market doesnt really have any assurance or guarantees that you would end up on positive.

when it comes to investment, I personally think it's better to invest in bitcoin because bitcoin is crypto no. 1 and the coins are very premium, judging by the large number of enthusiasts and the volume is good and the supply is limited. Your suggestion would be well considered if it was for Bitcoin because so far anyone can buy Bitcoin at a discount before Bitcoin goes back to the high price. But during this time when everything is at he hike - it is difficult to invest - at least for me.

when their is massive experience of market problem of cryptocurrency and during the hour of bearish market, people do think of having the ways of investing both always get confused because they don't know the coin they will invest for and they kept be skeptical for investment. But people who knows the procedures of investment just select some of the coins that have value and popularly known for investment. But people who don't watch market continue to think of coins to be invest with.
