You should invest some amount in trading of altcoins and hold some bitcoins to sell them in future because the price of bitcoin is increasing and in coming days it will definitely give you a good profit. to me ii think 0.5 is really a good amount of bitcoin and you can invest it in trading alt coin and from there in turn you can also get a good profit. i think. but for that you need to be a good trader because if you do not have any experience in trading then it is very risky to invest money in trading as there are more chances that you will lose your money. Trading is a good option only when you are good at trading and you know how to get profits from trading. If you are not known to trade, i think better is to keep the amount save in wallet and hope its value doubles in period of a year or so.

Trading will not be easy if he is a beginner in bitcoin and as a newbie its a too high amount to invest in trading so the best thing he can do is to gain some knowledge of trading first and select top 10 altcoins that exist since long time and he can expect certain profits from it in future but starting with a small capital is recommended.

For me it is yet another good investment if one will invest on a gambling site's bankroll. For starters I would recommend crypto-games since there are many big shots playing there who lose sometimes which will make you profit. Also investing in good ICO's are a good form of investment too just invest in the ones you will decide to trust though.

i think if you choose to make invest in HYIP programs, you should search HYIP sites that have launch in first day because you have big opportunity to make profit and you can get your money back but its not recommended as the risk is too high. i can only give advice to do trading btc-altcoin or btc-fiat but don't use all of your btc but use only half of all your btc and see how much you can make profit from trading.
