To me, 6 months is long term in crypto market. So your investment has to go somewhere trustful. This might be Waves for 6 month long investment. At least, you don't have mental worries about your Money while staying in waves.
A safe option would be to invest in the top 50 coins. Maybe choose some coins with differing functions.

Aeon - just take a look at the chart. Its been moving up slow and steady for over a year. It makes that Acoin chart look like a dead coin.

The only undervalued coin with good devs and good technology (no shit copycoins) is NXT.

I will advise you to do your personal research in other to make an informed decision. But if I should state my opinion, I will go for litecoin as it is currently under value and among the oldest coins litecoin is one of those that has not been pump for a while. Tell me a coin and what you think it will go up to!

Agreed and with that disclaimer in mind I will suggest OP checks out Aragon - ANT. It can be traded on bittrex and I think most people who read their whitepaper and their blogs will realize its going to be a winner.

I would keep one bitcoin, then I would invest one bitcoin in ethereum.
The last bitcoin I would spread among new ICOs such as Bancor, Tezos etc. and buy smaller cap tokens/coins like LBC, AMP, Wings, Waves for example.

My advice would be to keep your 3 BTC safe. Bitcoin will value in the future amount up to $50,000 or even more and it's too risky doing this trade now, after all I still believe we're in a bubble of alt coins right now.

Ae coin is best for investment it will definitely increase and Icn is also good for getting some good profit. And if you want to use your luck for profit then invest in any altcoin that has low value and wait for price to increase and then sell but for this you have to give your time to check price daily or after some hours.

I suggest you buy eth or ripple with this opinion. See the price action for eth with monthly time period is always comes up, this is the best coin after btc. After that buy ripple, the price is still low and we only need to wait until come up. Buy those coin with this money management rules, 40% eth and 20% for ripple and the rest money is for currency ( $ ). We made 3 option to grow up btc, maybe you need only one but this is save strategy. Good luck.

Put it on ethereum and waves men believe me that two coin i've mention are great to stake with since it can be called a superstar and devs had great work to lift it up so possibilities is so high for you to earn more profits in 6 months time span if you stake with this great coin ahead and also im looking at the stratis growth right now and simply its good flactuating movement carry me on to stake with them and hopefully i would able to earn more from holding this coin.

I suggest to not invest all the money in one coin as if it fails or if the price gets dumped then that is a big loss, maybe I would consider investing in few coins and take less risk.
One of my favorite coin is ethereum but you can choose and make your own research yourself and see which coin may have the potential to have a good future in the next 6 months.

still so many coins are there who have good potential and if you will wait you will certainly miss a good opportunity, you need to study the market and find out such altcoin and try to invest your money there, hope after 6 months you will certainly get a good profit.

3 BTC is almost $9,000 and if you risk your 9k usd upon the suggestions of this virtual people hanging out here, that's pitty. You could try waves or etc maybe.

Look at the current ICO frenzy for profits if you want to flip. Look at the ones that are more hyped. Currently like Status, Bancor.
lbry seems like a safe bet. Myriad if you want a long shot that could still give a hundred times profit.

I think i'm a week latedouble or triple in a week mean nothing, some coins can do 10-fold easy, most coins/token like stratis or eth can do up to 100-fold in a month or two, back in the old day
