It depends how much you want to trade and how fast you want it. For a first time buyer I would recommend Coinbase. It has the easiest UI to use and you can get your cryptocurrency instantly if you want. Every exchange has some horror stories but Coinbase is the most widely used.

Depending on your location check your location at first . because many sites are available in the market but some of them supporting your location.
I will suggest Try buy on your local exchange , because it's the  safest for you to buy your first btc.

you need to be aware if the store where you buy your bitcoin is applicable in your location.
it's better to buy bitcoin at local you trust only, because it is guaranteed safety.if we buy bitcoin mostly local that the work hours nonstop/24 hours and usually process the transaction fast and cheap shipping cost.

First place may be your local exchange, then coinbase, bitfinex if you can deposit usd or buy it through credit card. Localbitcoins if there is no local exchange in your country.
For us to start investing to bitcoin we could consider finding a local based exchanger that could support our initial investment in Bitcoin. We could also seek a way on learning national exchanger that could help us to earn more and to gain more profit in the future.

Hi Good Day! where can i buy bitcoins? there is so many advertisement on the internet already, any suggestion where best to buy?
Thank you!

Hi, your question seems to be a beginner one and i think you should be taking safer steps in buying your first bitcoin or any other coins because there are ways by which you can be scammed if you buy it from stranger or website which is not a good one to choose for buying and selling. You better choose exchanges likes BITTREX, BINANCE, ZEBPAY, or Coinbase where buying your first bitcoin would be in simple ways and that too with safety and highly secured way.

Me, I always recommend Localbitcoins. Nothing like getting your first Bitcoins from a fellow user. Just make sure you only buy from experienced traders with good history and feedback, and only only ever use e-scrow.
Using local bitcoins is a good option for new users but then the price is really high and you wont be able to purchase the coin at the best market rate, we now have more bitcoin exchanges than we had before and the only thing you have to do is to find out reputed local exchanges, if the OP could have clarified from which country he is trying to purchase , it would have being easier to pinpoint the exchanges from that country.

There are many sites in the market for bitcoin buy. Not all countries support all sites. Some sites only support your country. You have to find it. I think, both localbitcoins and coinbase are trusted sites.
Moreover you can buy bitcoin through different exchange.

Hi,

As many have already said, there are many options, so I won't add mine.

In order to secure your investment, just keep that in mind:

- the platform you eventually chose should have many users. try to check its reputation.
- think about transfer costs beforehand... that's another oint of comparison that can make a huge difference.
- don't believe in marvelous promises, they are generally ponzi (or other kind of scam)
- (invest what you can afford to lose, but I must say this is a general advice, available for any bitcoinner)

Good luck! Wink

Marinecoin is releasing their ico using 9 billion pre-mined MTC coins.  That allows the developers to use the coin in promotions.  Marinecoin, for example, has structured their ico to fairly distribute the 9 billion MTC to those who help promote the ico.  The system is dev-less to build a 100%, decentralized community.  They aim to build a diverse community from around the globe.  Their blockchain is dev-less using time dilution technology to insure fair distribution.  20,000 MTC daily can be gained as a reward for completing an artificial intelligence managed promotion task.  Zero transaction fees.  Visit their website for more info.  marineco.in/ico
