I am going to recommend how I am investing. You can diversify the coins as it suits you best. As always DYOR.
My investment goes as follows.
1. Bitcoin.
Because I want to invest for a long time, I also want to witness all the achievements that bitcoin will have in all these stages.
2. AVAX
https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/avalanche

It is a good project with just a year some have classified it with other coins as the ethereum killer. But this is not the case, the Avalanche network is providing solutions.

3. PVU
https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/plant-vs-undead-token

I wanted to invest in AxieInfinity but it was too late for me. To enter the game I needed to buy some pets and they were expensive for my budget.
which is why I decided to invest modestly as a farmer in Plant vs Undead until the game is released in Q4.
For which I have encouraged to invest in PlaytoEarn to try and also for my younger relatives to introduce them to these games that are trends.

My advice is, know the risks of crypto investment first. If you're sure about taking the risks, then invest with top and potential coins so you'll never have regrets in the future. 10,000 is a huge amount of capital so you must research the coin of your choice. Never put all of your funds in one basket choose the active and coins with big development for years.

If I have $10,000, I will diversify into:

$5,000 = Bitcoin for long-term hold
$3,000 = NFT games, altcoins
$2,000 = Business

On what NFT games or altcoins, I won't suggest because we have different DYOR skills and portfolio lists. Putting $5,000 on Bitcoin is already a secured deal, at least. For $2,000 on business, try to collab on some of your closed ones and have a brainstorming on what's the best business out there to try. You can do it solo but it needs more dedication and time.

Nice suggestions, one relatively safe investment in BTC, other a bit riskier but choosing the right NFT can be very profitable, and I like the third option... It's good to support some business, that can pay off big time if you get involved in something from the start.

$10k is a nice amount for the start, but don't forget that investing is just the first step, be patient with your investments, monitor them, try to not make silly and sudden actions., so thinking through before you do something is important if you wish to survive and make progress over time.

it seems like now is not the right time to invest in crypto as there is currently a bear market going on. The most important investment key is not to be in a hurry and not to be greedy. wait until the market conditions improve and try to divide the funds across several altcoins (don't focus on one altcoin). You can choose an altcoin with a large daily volume such as ETH or an altcoin that is currently popular such as SOL.
I don't understand how these old strategies are still spreading, I mean people are pretty afraid of a bear market and the general argument of all is to take an improvement to invest but when the market phase improves, we buy and the bear shape appears, persisting in the wait and the outcome is also not very correlated. Red doesn't dare to buy, green will buy late and get stuck in FOMO, the principle of no rush is just not to rush to buy too much in the bear, waiting for colors to be converted and buying is a real rush

I recently got 10,000 USD after my FD (Fixed deposit) matured and now i want to invest all those in the crypto world as the returns are best here.
Please suggest me different places where i can invest these 10,000 USD in the crypto currency world as i never done big investement in crypto before so please give me some ideas.
rest for a while mate, market is at roller coaster ride now and if you cannot handle holding for long term then best to set aside the plan of investing and just enjoy life outside crypto for a while.

then wait for the chance investing when the market subside to lower market again, there might be coming dump as it is starting now and keep safe your funds .

but if that amount is a funds that you can afford to risk and not on a hurry to profit then try buying alts like Cardano and Solana , or even Ripple and then wait for your moment to shine.

Personally, I feel that you must first consider whether it can be considered as a long-term investment. If you want to have a relatively good return in a short period of time, this amount of money is probably not enough for tuition. So, as a newcomer, I don't recommend investing in cryptocurrency. I suggest you read the rules of the Bitcoin forum, and then study hard. This is the best thing you should do right now.

Do you have any reasons to why are you only limiting yourself to crypto ? have you considered stocks, real estate, gold ect.... ?  Maybe you should consider all your options before deciding what you want to do with that money.
he only thinks about big returns without thinking about the risks he will accept if he invests in crypto. If I had that kind of money of course I would think about investing in other things (not just focusing on crypto). maybe 30% I will invest in crypto and the rest I will invest in something in the real world.
Exactly, it is now maybe the best thing to invest while the market experienced some drop and it was a correction so considering there is a drop for a while and you can use this opportunity to grab some bitcoin and hold until the price will grow back. We know that there is resistance after a correction, if this prediction will happen it will surely there is a profit out there waiting for you. It is a good start and good capital if you have $10k as your capital.

if you like the risk then you can try investing in defi, bitcoin staking, or crypto lending
if I were you then I would buy stable coins and put them on the lending platform because currently many exchanges are setting up the lending feature

$10k is not a small amount so you have to be careful in putting it down

The OP must have understood the risks he/she would accept, however the most profitable right now is investing in crypto

I only recommend safe investments without risk and short term.  choose bitcoin use your $ 10k to balance in bitcoin, and wait until bitcoin has increased at least 10% you can sell bitcoin and enjoy your profit.  investing in bitcoin is perfect for beginners
I think every investment wherever it is, there is still a risk maybe if you invest in bitcoin with a short term the risk level is very low, it doesn't mean without the slightest risk because we all don't know for sure the price of bitcoin tomorrow.
it's a very good suggestion if you use $10k to buy bitcoins but with the current bitcoin price being too high the chances of getting a profit will be low i think to try investing in Altcoin that are still affordable to buy some and there is a possibility to get a lot of profit .

Bitcoin and the top altcoins I think it's very safe so it's suitable for beginners,
but regardless that it is safe they should realize that investing is not an easy thing,
Of course you need special knowledge and expertise to be able to make a profit

To be honest, it depends on you as well. What type of return you are looking for, what type of risk you are willing to take, what is the tech you want to invest into, what you think is the future of crypto, what you think is the safest ones. Basically, whoever wants to invest into crypto, they need to realize that crypto is not a one-sided thing and it is definitely multi dimensional and you need to make sure you know what you are doing.

Otherwise, this doesn't make sense at all, if we all invested into the same things then there would have been 10-20 different coins and nothing else would ever get any investment at all. However, there are people who put money into things which are not even in the top 5000, why do they do that? Because they are taking that risk, hence why we should not be so shocked about the current situation of crypto is in with all those low cap stuff and everyone needs to find their own investments.

I highly advise you to diversify your investments by allocating them into stocks and cryptocurrencies simultaneously.

You have to decide on which investment instrument you want to invest majority of your money. If you plan on receiving short-term gains, then you may want to invest into BTC since their value is highly volatile. If you plan also on investing on long-term, I do suggest purchasing some stocks on blue chip companies or you could also buy BTCs and HODL them until the next fork (3-4 years from now).

Stock market is also at ATH levels, so investing in blue chip stocks is as risky as investing in cryptocurrency. I took a look at some of the most recommended stocks currently. The P/E ratio is in the range of 50-60. In case a stock market crash occurs (similar to what happened in 2008-09), then I expect around 80% of the value of these stocks to get wiped out. Even large cap stocks are looking like bloated balloons. I am having a feeling that correction is long overdue in the stock market.

Buying NFTs will all our money is too risky and any wise man will never make such choice which also applies to bitcoin as well because don't always think that price of Bitcoin will increase especially when it at peak because that is the time weak hands will enter and chances of the cycle to change.
That's why I said to check some of them because not every NFT is worth buying. Plus, even if there's risk if you have done your research and the developer behind the work is trustworthy for your standards then  you can probably benefit from trying to buying at the least one of their NFT.
The issue with this strategy is that NFTs are right now collector items so there is not really anyway to tell if an NFT will hold value in the future or not the same way we can evaluate coins and tell if there is some fundamental value there, so it will be very difficult to identify what the people are going to want to collect in a few years, and with this being the case investing a significant portion of your capital in NFTs does not seem like he best idea to me.

I guess bitcoin is still the best to invest such money. but let it be long term investment, so that you can achieve massive profits from the investment. If you can invest the 10,000 USD in bitcoin within two years you will make a lot of profits, since the price of bitcoin is about to increase to $60k.
Bitcoin price is still more reliable than altcoin that was dumping during the pandemic.

I don’t know whether you have invested or not, but if you have not then you should check out all the top alternative coins in the market. Bitcoin too is a very good investment to make. The price of Bitcoin seems to be approaching the all time high price again and before December if it should continue like this then we are likely to get past the last all time high price to another high price.

As for the cryptocurrency Ethereum, we have seen that it has reached a new all time high price, a price of around $4000 and it has been going further. This has been the same for so many  other alternative coins, such as Tron, Binance coin (BNB), even dogecoin, etc.
