You have mentioned some casinos indeed, but all of them are not providing the game which is OP want to play.

As if you know and understand it, you would not mention Stake, Roobet, Rollbit and freebitcoin because what OP want to play is pvp poker since he said "poker room" while the casinos you mentioned previously are not providing pvp poker game.

But in slots holding some reals is never free, isn't it? You have to pay something for holding those reals, and sometimes it's 10 times of your initial bet, so, I'm not sure if it's really the same or not.



From my experience, it is easier to hit something higher in video poker than in real poker. For example, just recently there was a video poker challenge on one site, where you had to hit four of a kind faces, meaning that only kings, queens and jacks count, and many people, including me, succeeded in that. You play real poker, so you have an idea how unlikely it is there, right?



It is very true, you don't have that many options in video poker, but still, if  you know at least basic rules and you know what cards is better to hold, you have better chances of winning than with spinning it like slots.

For me the most interesting gambling game is poker. But I have never used crypto for betting in this game. Sometimes I meet up with friends and we play poker. We make small bets. No one's goal is to make money in this game. Our main goal in poker is communication and having fun.

There are many different types of slots, to start from the number of reels and lines to the ones that have some special features. I said that video poker is  "something like a poker-themed slot machine"... and basically it is. 5 reels, one line... with the first spin you decide which reels to hold for the next spin, and after that, you either have a hand or not (there are not many, but there are slots where you can hold the reels, but it costs extra). If you have a hand you can gamble for more and play hi & lo. Something that many slots have... feature to gamble with your winnings.

From my experience, you can chase whatever you want but without luck (as in slots) you will not get anything! 50-100 hands without 3 of a kind, to not speak about something higher. Simply if you decide to go for "good hands" you will miss many hands that would actually pay off and give you the chance to gamble for more. A simple example is 4 of the same color with an ace and a king... so you either risk and go for flush, or to try to get at least a pair holding just an ace and king, which has a higher chance to come of course. And you are a poker player, how many times have you had 4 of the same color and you waited for that 5 but it didn't come? I guess in video poker, our chances are even lower, video poker has RTP.

Simply you don't have many options in video poker, it's just hand after hand and you either hit something good or not. Like spinning slots...

For people who like these games and wish for an extra thrill, I advise trying Caribean poker. Unlike video poker, you have a chance to raise or fold, but it's a lot more expensive than video poker, and actually requires some kind of strategy and poker skills. But it's also a poker against the house, so a lot depends on luck and the next card you will get!

For you maybe yes but about those people who prefers other crypto than what they currently list? Another thing about them is why they auto-convert cryptos to USD? I guess this wasn't really a full crypto site but they just partially support crypto, maybe for the sake of their regular fiat costumers as some of them may want to try out crypto for a while.

GGpoker network offers btc, usdc and usdt as deposit and withdrawal option, so this should be the clear number 1 in my eyes.

SWC has 0 traffic, on weekends there are 250-300 players online, that's just ridiculous. The software is great thought. But the rake is also a little high. Betnomi just has a terrible software in my eyes.

GGpoker and natural8, both in the gg network, have 100000 players online often so that's unbeatable in terms of games and tournaments if you want to use crypto. I wonder why stars and party didn't jump on the train yet.

Actually it's still a question to me whether Video poker is absolutely the same as slots, where you can't affect the outcome in any way. Like, for example, if you were always ignoring a good hand, like a full house or four of a kind, or even better, that were given to you, and were holding nothing, but were exchanging all the cards all the time, would the result after, say, 50 games, be the same as if you were holding the "good" cards? I read that skillful poker players have significantly higher odds of winning, but I'm not sure if that is the case in reality.

Yeah, Video poker and "Poker" specifically are not the same. Video poker is just a casino game like slots while Poker is a game of skill which one may also find in a casino but it is PvP. Actually, there are not many options for crypto poker... Most crypto poker places have very low traffic. And yes, Betnomi is "doing some poker tournaments" , Rollbit organizes many things, but not poker games.

To play poker in general terms with crypto there are many options. So many people got screwed because of KYC and that is because they underestimate the faq page or the terms of use page. If not about the KYC, there are also small gamblers who lost their deposit because they didn't knew that there is a minimum deposit on that casino. They are lucky if the casino will return their money but I think most of them won't do that. They have the right to do so and it can also act as a lesson to the irresponsible gamblers.

Yes, you are right, the two casinos can still be trusted and can be used as a place to play.
But every individual's choice is different and we don't know what kind of casino they are looking for.

I've been playing on SWC for many years and, I don’t know how they do it, but I've never encountered bots or colluding players there. Playing against the machine changes essentially because you can't beat it in the long run and it doesn't have the variety or the offer of the poker rooms with different formats of cash (Holdem, Omaha, Classic), sit and goes, spins or tournaments.

Yes both these sites are quite old and I have been visiting these sites for a long time.  Although I only had an account on WINZ.IO.  But I don't have much experience playing poker games.  Because I am not very good at this game.  I only specialize in sports bets and dice and these I play a lot from other sectors . OP should have really found the poker site he was looking for because there have been many recommendations from the community here for him, should if he has found it he will lock this thread too, BTW I already have an account on betnomi , fortunejack and winz it's just not playing actively there only create an account maybe i will use it later when i have more money and looking for new experience in poker game 

This kind of live poker feels weird to me, since is the players betting vs the house then users can't select the betting amount in the middle of the game as it could happen in a real poker table. I mean, if you bet $1, then the raise when they show the 4th card need to be the same amount you use when joining the game, and you can't go all in. That's why I don't recommend poker from live betting.

That's not what OP is looking for obviously. He is looking for poker rooms, he's not looking for video or casino poker games that have nothing to do with real poker. Those games are just classic casino card games with few rules related to poker such as card combinations ranking but if you want to play poker you will get quickly bored. Nonetheless, they are available whenever you want because you don't need to wait for other players and tables are open 24h a day, moreover rounds are usually very short.

Yeah this site. I remember they also have an ann thread here in the forum but I wonder why it isn't visible anymore in the front page of the gambling section. Would it be better if some concerned users up their thread or ping their forum representative about it. It was long ago when they first launched their website they only had backjack but later they added more games like a regular casinos do. I did not check but somehow it was a picture in my mind that they had poker same as SWC. Now checked their site again and it seems all they have are regular games from different providers. Even the pokers are too.

Yes i have used Betnomi for some days But I didn't join the $58 tournament but I advised a friend of mine to do it because he owns a lot of money.  Although he participated in this tournament several times, unfortunately he could not win it . There are many gamblers in this site and it has been doing their business honestly for a long time.I personally support this site and feel that no one should be cheated even if they invest a large amount here. I am not encouraging anyone to invest.  I am giving my personal opinion.  So personal research is essential before investing in any site

As far as I know, Betcoin.ag hasn't offered the opportunity to play poker there for a long time. Betcoin sold their poker division and the new operators left if I remember correctly.

For the best poker site, there's no other choice except GG Poker.  It has the best game selection, the site that accepts BTC with highest traffic and it's as trustworthy as the best poker site can be.  You're money is prolly safer at GG Poker than at your typical crypto exchange.  Lolol. 

But I think BTC as a deposit option depends on which part of the world you're at tho.  Go check...  And never ever use VPN's when logging in a poker site.  They don't like it.

Would recommend this too, as I've been using this poker site before for a long time and I can honestly tell you that it was one of the good or best poker site you can play with cryptocurrency. Although you can play with the other gambling sites too but expect that at some point they would ask or require you to submit identification as per their AML policy and unlike in Swcpoker it is pure Bitcoin and they wouldn't ask any KYC to you.

Good list already especially with Fortune jack and Chistars (these are where my friends are playing at and I think these are good poker platforms). Well, actually there should be many platforms offering the same game simply because poker is one of the traditional gambling games being offered to both online and land based casinos. It will just be comparison on platforms' promotions and bonuses as well as odds of winning, to determine where a poker player should engage himself into. Personally, I am not into this kind of gambling game but for sure there are many great gambling sites in this industry to play this game at.

the thing is, OP is looking for poker rooms(at least that is what I think he is looking for). anyway, I checked the casinos you shared and the majority of the casino you shared either has live poker or video poker. only CoinPoker, BetOnline, Bovada, Chipstars and Black Chip Poker are the only ones that have poker rooms on the list(correct me if I missed a casino on the list that has poker room)

They used to have signature campaign and used to host regular poker tournaments for the bitcointalk forum members. It was going through for long months when the pandemic started back in Q1 2020.

To response PawGo and OP, swcpoker are specialist in poker, if I ever play poker again then I will look for them before anyone else. I did not check recently but most probably blackjack.fun also have similar type of poker specialty but I could be very wrong about them. In any way, swcpoker should be the best destination to play poker with crypto.

If you are looking for a dedicated poker sites with crypto then currently there isnt one. Swc is probably the 'best' right now although its just so bad right now compared to their prime year. Try ggpoker though, its not exclusively crypto poker site but you can deposit there with bitcoin and the traffic there is just insane though if you like to play against large crowd

I have a feeling that sites attract 'random' people, not really focused on poker.

They still owe me two hats. I think I still have some tickets for those big tournaments we got from bitcointalk private series... with kids and family that game was too late for me anyway, but I tried to play it a few times and each time it was canceled, not enough registered players.

I guess we can discuss "several players at cash tables", as you know there were some accusations about collusion and bots in their ANN thread. They didn't bother much to respond... I can't say that I had any issues with SWC, but somehow that place "lost spirit" (players) at one moment, and I just moved away. Maybe I will check them as well, but I am not completely sure about that.



Crypto poker places are miles away from fiat poker places.

As I wrote, looks like Icopress and Cygan are preparing something for poker players, we will see how many interested players there will be. Many people here talk about poker, but when it comes to playing we don't see a lot of action...

Difficult to give a clear answer to this. The Crypto gambling sites out there right now that offer poker are minimal. There are a number of sites where you can also play poker, but I think the number of active players on this site is minimal. If you really want to play poker, I would only find a poker site and see if you can also deposit with crypto there. I think there are few to no sites on Bitcointalk where you are going to find a large number of active poker players.

In the past few days I have been playing poker in Betnomi, they have a nice user interface, the tournaments are nice and the cash tables always have people. Most of the tables are for low rolling $0.01 - $0.02 tables, but some of the tables are for amounts around $50 and $100, so, you should give them a try.

The only bad thing about that poker site is that we can't have multiple tables on different screens, but that isn't bad at all.

There are some platform where you can play at poker with bitcoin. I advice you to play poker at Betcoin.ag, or betnomi, also there are some others which is comparable to this two one.

I was very active poker player years ago as I started my online gambling in fiat poker site and poker game was also the one that made me know about cryptocurrency for the 1st time.
I played in few crypto poker sites but unfortunately, the traffic is not really good in crypto poker sites compared to fiat, this is why I do not really follow the trend of crypto poker.
However, for now I think there is no other good choice except swc and betnomi, I cant find any other crypto poker sites with better traffic than these 2 sites although I do not think that swc and betnomi has decent traffic.

SwC Poker is okay, I'm playing there form time to time. There are not many players there for some reason, but the site is working perfectly, and there's always at least several people at cash tables ... I personally like the site. Also, several months ago I withdrew around $1k from the site without any delays.

Betnomi  is a great site for poker too. There are times when hundreds of people playing there at once. And they run lots of GTD tournaments and free rolls every day.

other members here might suggest you specific crypto gambling sites that offer poker room but if you want more gambling site options that offer poker room you can try visiting BTCgosu they have a list of crypto gambling sites there that has a poker room.

Yeah, I remember this site, (thanks for bringing this up), but they used to be a good poker crypto based platform to begin with.

But not sure how big are they (or small) as far as poker games or tournaments goes. There are old gaming platform here that still has poker, but they have a accusations before, like colluding that's why they lost their crowd.

actually I also looked for this some time ago and was a little unsure too, but friends in this forum have recommended to see it on betnomi, maybe you need to see it there, I've seen it but haven't tried playing there maybe you want to try it there . hope it helps your question
