Everyone gave a lot of good advice. Everyone's opinion is good. I say it now in my opinion. I sell my bitcoin to those who sell  buy bitcoin. I know some of them personally.  Instead of Bitcoin they pay me cash. Then I spend the money as I wish. You must keep in mind that not all countries recognize Bitcoin. So the best way is to convert Bitcoin into the currency of your own country and then spend it as you wish.

Spending bitcoin by sneaking up at hotels, paying food with bitcoin and others is very fun. The list of places you give to spend bitcoin is a list of the best places.
there are other places that can be used to spend bitcoin, namely by donating it to an orphanage or an elderly home, and it will be more useful.

but not for my country, I can't do this using bitcoin. This is because of regulatory issues set by the government. Bitcoin is only used as a commodity currency. so it cannot be used as a means of payment for goods and services.

In my opinion, I will prefer to choose the title: Merchants that Accept Bitcoin as payment.
If your title is "Where to spend Bitcoin", I will definitely  answer:
I will spend my Bitcoin on my local exchange, convert it to fiat, transfer it to my bank account and make its cash. then, I will spend the money for everything that I need.
You would only answer that way if he puts '?' on it, that means he's asking for where he could actually spend his bitcoin. I found nothing wrong with the title itself, I guess you just misunderstood it.

The lists may not work well for me, moreover, in my country, BTC is not legal for payment. I'm also not interested to buy something with BTC.   Grin Grin
The place in the list is internationally scattered so it does not affect your country of origin, as long as can pay them bitcoin you can get their product or services offered. In my country also, bitcoin payment is not as many as these places, there are only some merchants who accepts it and we all know that it is because of the uncertainty of cryptocurrencies. Now you buy an apple, then tomorrow you could buy a house.

Despite BTC and crypto in general being increasingly under-recognised among most people (worldwide) which again links back to us being more active about increasing adoption, there are so many different ways to spend BTC from the retail industry, to leisure, food and even postoffice. The list is just enormous but there's still a lot more we need to do.

Well, it seem you're new to the world of cryptocurrency and needed help, on how you can spend your Bitcoin stash. We'll have different ways whereby we spend our bitcoin portfolios respectively, whenever I need some cash for use, I always get some of my bitcoin stash to a p2p exchange were I will be able to exchange my bitcoin stash to fiats. Also, whenever I need to purchase any stuff online, I did ask for bitcoin accepted merchandise for payment gateway. In-all, we'll have diverse ways or means to spend Bitcoin the ultimate.

The lists you posted is good, but I am looking for local lists in my area where I can conveniently spend it. All listed above is international like those restaurants, etc. Anyway, I saw one gasoline station here in my place that accepts bitcoin
That's pretty interesting. I haven't encounter any gasoline station that accept bitcoin as sort of payment method in some areas in Philippines, most of it are restaurant and unbelievably all the location is hard to find.

other than that still haven't see some supermarkets or local online markets for me to spend and use btc as a payment.
Yea. The adoption in our country are small and slow. Nonetheless, time will tell and we'll see more stores accept bitcoin in the near future.

https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/who-accepts-bitcoin/

While you were searching for almost everything, these are a few major companies that accept Bitcoin and allow you to spend them at their place while also giving you some great discounts for doing so. The list is probably the latest one and it's for those specifically who are willing to know about some companies from where they can usually purchase almost everything from food supply to industrial stuff and whatnot.

It is the year 2020, you can spend Bitcoin in many restaurants and you can move bitcoin to gift cards for spending.
Such sites are of little use because Google is faster than them and gives you many details.
You need to update the database, but it is faster than Google to display the results and more extensive.
your site need good team to update it frequently than goggoel services.

The list is so accurate, I am also doing some things on the list, there are many ways for us to spend our bitcoin, we can use it for so many things depends on our purpose snd intention for it. We can spend it to purchase things we want, there are already some stores in another country that accept bitcoin for payment, you can also use bitcoin for some online transactions, like paying bills, transferring of money, etc. it is safer and faster transactions compared to payment of fiat currency. You may also use it for profitable purposes, like trading and investing, both things are risky but if you are good at it, you will earn a lot of money.
It is really depends on what type of consumer are we,there are people who usually spends their bitcoin through shopping online or buying in groceries but there are people who usually want to spend cash than bitcoins because they know that the price may rise again.

I spend my bitcoin through buying online but I make sure that I do not spend a lot. I also have accounts in online casinos and I have a portfolios in different exchanges and that is how I spend my bitcoins.

I agree with you I also did not spend too much on my bitcoin Bitcoin is a very profitable currency. We can make a lot of profit if the price goes up That's why I have invested and kept it as the price goes up But sometimes I spend on internet or buying a product.
This kind of approach will benefit the user but has some disadvantages for the bitcoin itself, because bitcoin was originally created for payments not as an assets so if we keep holding and trading them for profits which may change the intention of its creation. So keep holding as well as spending for your daily needs if its possible is a good things to do.

I usually spend my bitcoins through paying bills and buying some load for internet. There are now a lot of businesses that are now accepting cryptocurrencies because of its unique features that surpasses the current payment system.

I do not spend a lot because my goal is to increase the bitcoin that I currently have because I'm psrt of the people who believe that the price of the bitcoin will increase in the near future.
That is the only time that I spend my bitcoin too, I never given thought about things that are not that necessary, I use most of what I hold in investing because I can the profit that it gives and I think that it is worth it. This list could've been comprehensive so it can help people find what they're looking for, but it still helps.

However, what I envy the most from the list was the University in Malaysia that accepting bitcoin for tuition fees, etc. If other Universities try to allow btc payments, too then it will be indeed a good step for good adoption in diffetrnt countries.

The best way to spend bitcoin is through payment processors. Everyone knows Bitpay but you can also use bitcoin and other cryptos with Payeer and WebMoney. You can keep those wallets topped up with bitcoin or other cryptos then spend it at any place that accepts Payeer or Webmoney. You can also trade Payeer and WebMoney to Paypal in case you have no other option but I do hate Paypal. Most of my purchases were with payment processors. You may even have a local one. Check to see if your local exchange (if you have one) supports an API payment system for merchants. Thus any merchant using it will support crypto payment too.

There was another post on how to spend Bitcoin, so I thought I'd share a list post of where you can spend Bitcoin. Obviously this list is not exhaustive, but it gives you some fun suggestions of where you can spend your BTC for fun, for food, for hotel stays, products and services.

Can you add to this list?
Do you have any interesting suggestions for shops, restaurants, brands, e-commerce shops, etc that accept BTC payments? Then let us know so that we can keep building the list.

Remember, it is for fun and not meant to be perfect. But I hope you enjoy it!

https://gocryptowise.com/spend-bitcoin-here-list/

I dont know if this one is updated but it do shows some merchants that do accept Bitcoin and other types of ALTS into their service.
https://bitcoinmap.cash/

Overall, im not really that a fan of spending my coins just to avail these services or buying up some stuff yet i can still make use fiat for that
and do intend to save up my coins for longer runs but well this is just a preference.

Why don't you spend some time to find by your own?

I don't think anyone gonna help you by wasting their time for building your list here where its purpose is just for fun.

As Talkstar stated above, why should anybody spend his time doing researches to build your list! Don't you think you have to do it by yourself?

That's not a good idea because there are several outlets that accept bitcoin, and several new ones spawning every day and yet more that go defunct and nobody has the time or energy to maintain such an exhaustive list of bitcoin accepting places. It's worth noting that nobody has attempted to make such a list for any fiat currency, because by logic, everyone in the area is supposed to be accepting it, so making a list of them will include pretty much all of them and is quite a pointless activity.
Sounds logic. But not compared to Fiat money, as bitcoin is not yet popular and even considered as illegal in many countries.
The idea can be realised if to list real stores/shops accepting bitcoin in a specific zone/country.
Maybe the only reliable option is to create a list of online stores accepting bitcoin and we can see a lot of directories listing them like the example i provided above.

Chill sir. I think the OP only wants ideas from us so that he keeps his article in a constant update and somehow be helpful for others to find. Yet, there is already numerous articles talking about it and there was this website called Spending Bitcoin where you could really find dozens of lists of businesses accepting Bitcoin and was categorized like Merchandise, Gambling, Home & Living, etc.

This is really good list. One more suggestion instead of redirecting the user to some other site why do not you create a list here nice and clean that would be great.

I think he doesn't really considered publishing his article here in the forum and somehow wants to promote his website. Don't be scared clicking such links as it only was made for articles and information and not for phishing nor scamming people. Pretty Ironic that you hate links yet you've said it was a good list showing that you've read it lol
