There are dedicated sections for every topic on this board so if you are willing to get more knowledge about any topic then you can start with pinned topics along with the valuable replies on the same topics. If you want to take any information about any specific topic then instead of creating a new topic you can use the search bar located in the upper right corner of this forum, you will find multiple topics regarding your query and you can read those topics one by one.

I recommend for you to take a look of the BitcoinWiki, where the blockchain technology is explained and you will also find in there many other sections, as a small history of bitcoin, for instance, or different links into forums and chats related to the crypto world. This also contains useful books, as the one called "Mastering Bitcoin" (an essential reading), you can download it for free. Also, in the Bitcoin wiki you will find technical articles related to Bitcoin. You will need some patient in order to be able to explore all the contents published in there (is a huge place too): https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Main_Page

Here in the forum, as it has been said, the Meta section contains many information related to how the forum works, so take a look. Besides, here in the "Begginers &help" board, you will find threads related to how to start here.

Remember always the gold rule: read, read & learn before posting.
Welcome!

This is a most usual question raised by a newbie as where we to first start. Though I am also a newbie but for few days I have been in the same industry so having some knowledge. As I would like to share my experience with you. For a beginner, the first step is to do maximum research and study of basic terms, joined useful forums which would be helpful in discussions or you can get various study materials too for your study, Visit blogging sites, Visit YouTube platform for in-depth information and so on.

Though I would like to provide you study material for basic study which I hope would be helpful in your research and studies.

For Crypto coin knowledge, Visit: cryptocoinjudge.com
For live, upcoming ICOs, Visit: icotokennews.com
For ICO alerts, Visit: icoalert.com, ICOBench.com, Coinschedule.com etc.

Go through these websites which will surely helpful for you but I personally recommend you to visit first 2 websites because you'll get all basic or advanced information on these sites.

Hope, you'll get what you are actually looking for. Do share your experience with me too, so that we can educate others too.

Start with learning about this forum. The rules and regulations. The Merit system. The Ranking system. Do's and Don't's. Then, learn about bitcoin and altcoins. After that, you can post or reply to threads relatively. Post until you get to Jr. Member and then you can join Bounty Campaigns and earn. But be careful on choosing campaigns. Some are not paying. Remember to check the profile of the campaign manager to be sure it's not fraud.

If you aren't starting with a large investment airdrops and bounties can be helpful. Most free cryptocurrencies come in the form of ERC20 tokens which are built on Ethereum. Get a wallet like My Ether Wallet to hold them.

I think you should start understanding this forum in Meta so you would never think of disobeying the forum rules. After that visit Bitcoin forum to learn about Bitcoin from other members and start help each others.

Interested to earn money?
Jump to Bounty Forum or Announcement Forum and pick any ICOs you think worth of your investment.

And which direction are you interested in? It could be trading, mining, participation in bounty or, perhaps, you are interested in participation in ICO?
When we know what directions you are interested in, then we can help

Would be helpful to know whether you are versed in the crypto world already, or a total beginner. I just joined too and seem to get the hang of it pretty quickly. The forum itself is pretty straightforward, just read the rules and you should be good.

Well, you're in the right section! You can use the search feature toward the top right if there's a specific question you have--it's most likely already been answered.

Hope this helps  Smiley
