I personally stored my erc20 tokens on my myetherwallet. This wallet required token to be compatible to erc20 to be transferred on the wallet. Since ever been in this crypto world this is one of my wallet used to store my earning.

Almost all altcoin wallets can be loaded with ERC-20 tokens, even if it is not on the exchange, the wallet I use is IMTOKEN, this is a portable wallet!

Today, there are so many decentralized projects that automatically add tokens, the main thing is that you know the address of the contract correctly and that’s all you need to know in order to invest or sell.

MEW is one of the popular wallets around to store ETH and ERC20 tokens. It is a free wallet, you just have to create one at the official website. However , you have to be careful and check MEW website everytime you use it. There are lots of phishing websites targeting MEW.

To store ERC20 tokens that are not listed on exchanges, you can use MyEtherWallet aka MEW. It is the best wallet now to store your ERC20 tokens. In MEW history, it never gets hacked, in the past, there is a MEW dns hijack but if you look carefully at the address, you can realize it leads you to wrong website. So, just use MEW and always take care when using it, you'll be safe.

Which wallets can hold ERC20 Tokens that aren't listed on exchanges?

Is it possible to send it to my ethereum wallet address on Binance or Poloniex ... or can they only be held on myetherwallet
If your tokens are not supported in exchange you can only store them in MEW, if you send them to ETH addresses in binance or other exchange you will surely lose them permanently.

Myetherwallet is not a safe wallet, You should go to the mycrypto and then download the desktop wallet and store all of your asset on there. I never get any problem with it and all of things are running smoothly till this time. you can even get the more features compared with MEW. It's a great wallet right now.

I suppose in this case, the desktop would be a better option though I would move them offline completely as soon as support exists (Ledger, etc). MEW is good but the UI takes a little while to get used to.

Yes you can store erc20 tokens on ledger as well, then you can use it through MEW/Mycrypto. Hardware wallets are highly safe as you have to confirm physically.

You can hold it on Myetherwallet and it is a good wallet because they can detect phishing sites when you enter in unsecured website.

You can save it in Ethereum wallet, and I recommend you to use MetaMask instead of MyEtherWallet
Metamask is safer and is also recommended for ETH sending or receiving transactions and ERC20 tokens
MetaMask can also be downloaded as an extension on the Desktop version of Google Chrome

The hardware wallets are best wallets to store ERC20 tokens safely like Nano Ledger S. If can't buy a hardware wallet, my next option is Metamask. The Metamask is a chrome extension and it has a good security with anti-phishing. Another option is Myetherwallet. Most people using Myetherwallet to store ERC20 tokens. But you have to keep safe your private keys.

No, never send your ERC20 tokens to exchanges ethereum wallet addresses. You have to control your private keys to manage ERC20 tokens. The exchanges wallets private keys owned by the exchanges that's why.

All ERC20 tokens are compatible in Myetherwallet. Listed or not they can still be stored in this web wallet. Since they are not still listed on any exchange you can only store them on wallets that supports ERC20.

I personally keep my tokens on the stock exchanges because I actively trade and see no reason to transfer them to some wallet

Myetherwallet.

You can't send those tokens that aren't listed to an exchange.

However if you want to send ethereum to your ethereum address on binance, that's possible.

But if this is what you want to happen, ERC20 token (not listed) --> binance/poloniex then this isn't possible.
