Using it in trading and converting them to fiat when price goes higher, this are the only two places where I am using them as I don't find any other better places to use them.

I use it to trade, to invest in projects and in some cases on daily expenses, but for this I don't find too many opportunities, so I have decided to hold most part of my stake for the long term.

We have good option to sell them and convert to fiat as exchanging bitcoin to fiat is not a big deal now, and fiat is accepted everywhere so the purpose of spending bitcoins is served.

You can use the bitcoin debit card with visa or master signs. That will make bitcoin to be spendable everywhere.

At the moment i got most of my coins in exchanges. From time to time i use it on the market place here to pay for digital goods or services. But soon i will try to get some items with the gyft service, so my bitcoin shopping experience can start.
This is very risky, you should have part of your funds in places where only you have the private keys. Remember exchanges that have been hacked, Mt. Gox and Bitfinex, for example.

But to answer the OP, I use it to trade, to invest in projects and in some cases on daily expenses, but for this I don't find too many opportunities, so I have decided to hold most part of my stake for the long term.

I use it more for investments, it has been quite useful for this purpose. But for purchases, I have not used that much, except on rare occasions, buying games on the Steam service, for example, which is now accepting Bitcoin.

Neither do i use bitcoins for purchases, mostly the reason for that is it is not accepted anywhere in my country nor i can buy anything online with it as the shipping fees are a lot and i cannot afford it, so i can simply use it as investment or convert them to fiat and then use them which i'm going to do soon.

Yes shipping cost is a big headache in purchasing anything online, so I have dropped the idea of buying online using bitcoins, mostly I prefer to sell them and convert to fiat when I see higher price.

There are only few stores that accept bitcoin online but that does not matter at all as it is easy to convert our bitcoins to fiat to spend it. On the other hand there is also a benefit for us that we cannot easily spend our bitcoins because we will be able to save it for the future.

Its better to trade with them instead of simply saving them, as saving will not allow you to grow your coins, but with trading you can expect increased number of coins in future.

Hello,

Where do you use bitcoins? First i buy food, medicine, bills
I do not use Bitcoin in that way because I think that it is better to hold on to your Bitcoin. The value of the Bitcoin can always go up.
Because of this it allows us to make a profit if you sell for more then you bought for.

What I am doing with my bitcoins is when my promo in prepaid load already expired I am using bitcoins for re-loading again and buying prepaid load again in my convenience. That is where I am using my bitcoins and as well as when I have still enough bitcoins I used to pay my bills by bitcoins and good thing that it is really making me save a lot of bucks without going to the physical store.

then what do you use for getting these stuffs? do you not use them?
you may use your fiat for buying these thing. You should have to buy bitcoins with fiat and have to use those bitcoins to buy these things with that you will get them on discount and the value of bitcoin will also increase.

I use bitcoin to purchase online goods and things online, as it honestly is the best way to purchase things. It's fun, even.

in my country Indonesia. bitcoin is not yet a legal currency. so bitcoin can only be melted into money / used for online shopping

Bitcoin is not yet a legal currency there? "Technically" what does this means?

There are lots of Indos bitcoin users here since they day I registered in this forum. You also have own local section here. And by searching some of your local exchanges, I saw many results so how come it's not legal there?

He's mistaken. There are no rules saying that x is legal. Rules only say what is illegal. Bitcoin is not legal. Therefore it's legal.

Im using bitcoin in alot of difference places but only digitally. I tried to use it non digitally but I couldn't find any place nearby.
I'm hoping supermarkets will start to accept this and I can buy groceries with btc then.
For now i'm buying alot on steam with bitcoin.

We need to wait longer to spend them at physical places as I don't see any improvement at this stage and it will take long time for that to happen.

i am not going to use bitcoin and in present time when the price of bitcoin is going to increase so high i am just holding it for the price increase as most of the people are thinking that the price of bitcoin will cross the 1000$ in near future or just at the end of 2016. therefore the best option is to hold bitcoins and not to sell it any where.
