From now after 10years surely bitcoin can be seen above the value of $25000. 2020 has been a major year in the history of bitcoin. Hope the same will continue as bitcoin along with other digital currencies too were getting usage around in a much longer scale than the past leading to growth.

10 years ago Forbes magazine was prasing Nokia boss for it´s billion customers.
Now where is Nokia? maybe some 18y/o guy who trades BTC doesn´t even know what Nokia is...
So will BTC be anywhere 10 years from now? or would it have been replaced for something better and more inovative?

Im sure that bitcoin will not end up the same way as nokia. Bitcoin was already established and on the processes of development and advancement. To make bitcoin fail, new technology must be developed yo replaced it. But its hard to compete with tge technology behind bitcoin. Until there is no new one coming, people will continue to support. Once people were attracted there is ni way its value will not increase, it will also lead to development. Features such as low transaction fee and fast transaction should be work out to make it mire attractive to people.

Well, both are totally different.Nokia is a mobile company which once ruled the industry, but since it failed to realize that software field must be updated,it has lost its dominant position. But bitcoin is a digital currency and it has been designed by satoshi with all requirements needed to survive in the market.

It does need some updates like increasing block size and segwit activation has been done by the core team. Also,we could not see any big altcoin competitor to replace bitcoin and all altcoin prices solely rely on bitcoin price increase and decrease.
We could see big financial firms like CME entering the bitcoin market by releasing bitcoin futures and soon after that, thousands of new accounts in coinbase which shows that bitcoin is marching in positive track. Also, china has lost its dominance over bitcoin market and the only big threat has gone.

More probability is that after ten years, bitcoin price would go unimaginably high turning the fortunes of thousands of people bright.

There is always two possible scenarios, one is bright and the other is dark. It all depends on the the people, if people will keep on supporting bitcoin there is no way bitcoin will go dump. And in contrary, once people keep themselves away from Bitcoin, bitcoin will surely be gone. Nokia does not reach success because they become stagnant, the features were not developed and new advanced and developed technology was discovered. The same way will happen if bitcoin will not be developed. Faster transaction and lower transaction fee must be provided before a new technology comes. But Im sure that bitcoin has a bright future, the technology was unique and already established. Lets just hope for a better future for it.

bitcoin popularity eventually is raging, i am very positive that few more years Bitcoin will be known to all people. Bitcoin will possibly everywhere i mean in every countries billboard, tarpaulin, because i really do believe that 10 or more years bitcoin will be known as the world Crypto/Digital currency that serves as for payment in every merchants, transactions so forth an so on, or can be use for paying in transportation. 10 years is good enough to make the foundation of Bitcoin be better throughout the entire World.

Bitcoin after 10 years from now will become so powerful because it will be adopted by the different countries and also most of the people will put their money in bitcoin because of the possibility to earn a lot of money. 10 years from now bitcoin will become a very well known and the most successful investment that only some of the people believed and invested.

May be Nokia is something different that doesn’t fit in the criteria where bitcoin is giving us shit lot money. So thats obvious to forget about the Nokia at first glance. Lolz.

Bitcoin will grow but its growth will be steady after few years because most of the bitcoin harvest will be limited and the prices could be 50K and above. Because the prices are going to be skyrocketed that much then there is possibility that people will have hard time buying the bitcoin so investors input would be very slow leading to slow growth. In such cases we will use bitcoin as money farm, just to keep our money and raise it slowly. It will be safest place to keep the long earned money and then slowly earn back more. May be this kind of situation could happen. :-)

Nokia is a cellular phone brand that is being used by everyone before but due to some trend that they did not follow they are out in the market. Bitcoin is very different from nokia, bitcoin is not a cellular phone that needs an update all the time. Bitcoin only needs a supporter or investor, internet as well.

Satoshi himself saw this, he thought that bitcoin will be worth a fortune or nothing, there is not a middle ground with bitcoin is an all or nothing kind of proposition, so bitcoin is going to be worth zero dollars or more than 100k in that time span, I believe like many people in the forum that bitcoin is going to reach the second outcome in which it is very valuable.

On one of the two possible places:
1. Valued over 100k$, widely used, low fees, transaction confirmed in seconds
2. Historically known as largest crash in last 10 years, eventually replaced by some other more advanced coin.
You forgot to add that there will be a lot of forked coins. If number 2 happens how much do you guys think would the price go down to?

Lol you dreaming increase in price of btc has always caused a significant increase in fees. The average fees has always been around 0.001 for most of the transactions and as price becomes $100k (god knows how you speculated that) the fees in dollars will have a huge impact.
Don't worry about the fees because changes can happen if it is really needed like the recent increment on the block size. Also there are days that the network isn't much busy and paying for the recommended fee is just an option.

Based on pace of growth, it is likely that the government will try to impose their will over it. All of the know rich bitcoiners will be targeted and even plebs. Thus this resulting to civil war

For me we can't tell what exactly it will be. But as bitcoin helped us, we used it for our business specially in our wants and needs. It is possible that there will other cryptocurrency that can oppose to these. But it is possible also that its effectiveness or its usage will continue and improve in the future.

I think Bitcoin will be popular in the world over the next 10 years, replacing offline currency and becoming a popular payment method in everywhere like the Visa at the moment. Bitcoin is the future of money and finance!  Grin

10 years from now? Who knows if bitcoin will be the same with Nokia, there's no permanent in this world but only the innovation and satisfaction of people. Everyone does have their own taste on what to support and what to buy but what do you think about real estates and stock markets? They aren't forgotten and bitcoin can stay for a little bit long without any range of time as many are treating it now as solely an investment. But time will come that it will be upgraded and will make it more innovative but it won't be replaced.

2. Historically known as largest crash in last 10 years, eventually replaced by some other more advanced coin.

These two kinds of future would ultimately depend on its users. If the bitcoin holders and users would choose to continue to use it, then number 1 would most likely to occur. However if people choose to dump or countries chose to ban, then the demand would fall and number two may occur. In my head, those 2 kind of results may likely happen. It’s hard to tell because even just a few years from now, a lot can change and happen with bitcoin. For all we know, these things might happen by tomorrow.

I agree. I belive in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies but the crypto world is unpredictable. The idea behind bitcoin is brilliant, but there are various factors that may harm or soar BTC (people, governments, forks etc).
